Duncan Jr is trying out for the USNTD U17.He has dual citizenship. His dad,Duncan Sr,met and married an american while playing hockey at U of Maine.quite sure he's going to follow in his dad's footsteps.Duncan is a very good student.Would probably take a boat load of $ for him to report. My first post so take it easy on me!!
Did some checking with friends in CB - Duncan doesn't have dual citizenship. His mom is a dentist from Charlottetown, PE. Not sure about the young man reporting but word is that he lives for hockey so my bet would be that he reports unless he sees the NCAA as the better "career" option.

Assuming the Islanders are Kielly, Gallant, and Mccabe. I heard 7 or 8 NFLD players got the invite...
Since I asked the question about Q combine camp a lady told me she seen something on facebook or twitter about spencer Smallman going to a hockey camp in Que. but what i was looking for was a list of players who got invited if anyone has that list I would love to read it. Thanks!!
Look we get it old hockey --you posted about smallman about 8 times already so if anybody has a ranking for him can we put him out of his misery. Let me take a stab at it bottom of 7/8th round --maybe he'll grow lacking size.

The invitations don't come with a participant list ...right now the only ones with the list is the Q's central scouting.

Don't apologize old hockey, the great thing about living in Canada is that we are free to speak, praise and advocate for whomever we want..... I've never seen Smallman play but your not the only person to speak of him on this board so he must have something going for him. I wish him all the best and keep posting!

Smallman is awesome. Like alot of great pros he's not the fastest, strongest or has the best shot but he always produces.
Im assuming this means NCAA, and that may be a good choice, as he probably wouldnt even make the Q next year, and i feel that sometimes its better for smaller players to go NCAA. I respect his decision
If anybody wants to see Daniel Audette, he is on TSN today at 4:30 Eastern Time. Also on his team are former first rounder Laurent Dauphin (Chicoutimi), and former third rounders Maxime Gravel (Rimouski), and Frederick Gauthier (Rimouski), along with fourth rounder Alexander Caron-Roy (Val d'Or). Great hockey featuring many other drafted and draft elgible players.
When will the CSR release their rankings list for the Q draft?
Should be out tomorrow! As always, I am excited but you really can't put much stock in to these rankings, as I believe Scoutman said they only scout Atlantic born players in major tournaments like Gatineau and the Monctonian..

Ye those rankings are always stupid inaccurate but I always love reading them
Decided to do a bit of research.. Could be some errors but still worth reading.
I checked the CSR rankings last year and compared them with the draft. So for the first 5 rounds here is the accuracy of CSR.
Thats a grand total of 22/90 which honestly, is pathetic. Thats a percentage of 24%! I wonder if they seen any of these players last year..looking at these stats they are in need of a new scouting staff.. Badly!
