When was the last time a goal had you "playoff OT goal" excited?
As a Leafs fan, it's kind of depressing to see how excited everyone gets when their team scores an OT playoff goal. This year, 4 teams/cities have already felt the excitement of a playoff OT goal.
So when was the last time you were "playoff OT goal" excited about a goal? It doesn't have to be a Leafs playoff goal - it can be a regular season goal, another teams' goal, etc.
For me it would have to be John Madden's goal in the last game of the 06-07 season, when the Devils had to beat the Islanders for the Leafs to make the playoffs. If the Islanders got 2 points, the Leafs would be eliminated. And with less than a second to go in regulation Madden scored to tie the game with the chance of beating the Isles, and therefore a chance for the Leafs to make the playoffs. Obviously that didn't end up happening, but that was probably the most recent time that I went absolutely nuts excited about a goal.

tbh that game last season against teh islanders and kessel actually muscled a guy off the puck knocked him down dished to kulemin i think and they scored i was soo jacked up cause never had i seen that from kessel
That Grabo goal vs Calgary was pretty great Leafs-wise.
But Crosby OT winner vs USA.
Ya I totally forgot about that goal when the thread. I probably should have specified NHL only. Crosby's golden goal would be my most recent as well, considering all hockey.
Does Crosby's winner for Canada count? I was more than "playoff OT goal" excited though.

But in recent memory for the Leafs back when the leafs beat the habs in regulation to go to the playoffs (barring nyi loss) but they won. But that game
This whole game was unreal, and TBH I couldn't believe that Borschevsky got his stick on that puck,an amazing tip. If my memory serves me correctly before this game he was hit from behind and ruptured his sternum, so the fact that he was playing this game was ridiculous to me.
