Ya not really... He gets on Snow for the 2006 draft (which was not his). The 2007 draft in which he only had 5 picks, 3 of those 5 signed ELC contracts (good batting average). All three of those should at least have a cup of coffee in the NHL (Mark Katic already had is, so he already gave out misinformation).
The 2008 draft is one of the best drafts in the history of drafts. Only 3 players from that 2008 draft have not been signed to ELCs and that's Trivino (and only because of his alky troubles), Toews (who's not becoming anybody), and Petrov (who will almost certainly be signed if he decides to cross over). 10 out of 13 draft picks were signed to ELCs! I defy anyone to find me a draft like that in modern NHL history. Of those 10 players, there are a few gems as well: Hamonic, Ullstrom, Martin, Poulin will all have long NHL careers. Bailey will also have a long NHL career, even if its not what entirely as what he was drafted as. Who knows what happens with Petrov, who could very well be the best out of those 10 guys. Donovan is also on the cusp of being an NHL regular very soon. Drafting NHLers is a pretty darn good accomplishment, even if they are not going to become HOFs. Just look at drafts from before Snow (on hockeydb) or even of other teams and how many of those players were completely off track even 3 years after their draft year (playing ECHL, CHL or over in Europe).
This guy doesn't know what he is talking about. He just thinks he is funny for some odd reason.

This, I love how he completely skipped past the later rounds of the 08 draft to make his point. Just an absolutely awful video.
I was also amazed by his ignorance of the Isles's ability to find late round gems.
I just found it annoying how he was blaming the Islanders for not picking somebody like Eberle(who wasn't rated anywhere near 9th in 2008). I can see Hodgson or Myers who were generally rated in that area but have some perspective.

I watched Strome during today's replay of the Niagra v Ottawa game. I could tell that he is talented, but I thought he needed to play with more intensity.

Agree. He was not exceptional, some poor passes into skates, but he does seem to be involved in scoring plays.
btw....did you see that play where the Ottawa Captain kicked Kuhnhacl in the head (helmet) with his skate while he lay on the ice after the first Niagara goal? Not even subtle, it was a kick, and on purpose, never seen by the officials or called. Really dangerous move.

Yeah that kick was pretty bad. I think the refs just didn't see it. There should definately be a suspension

I saw that kick too, real scummy move. Strome made some nice passes, obviously has skill.. he needs time though.
the 5th overall niederreiter was able to push his up to $2.795M while the 5th overall strome was only able to push his to $1.775M? ryan needs a new agent!

Lou L. got Adam Larrson to sign an ELC with no bonuses.
Terrible job by Larsson's agent.
All I can think is that the agent is inexperienced.
