It was definitely quite the atmosphere in the Metro Center tonight. Not the best game technically but was a blast to be a part of the atmosphere. Hope they can pull off 2 more and get a couple more games at home.

This series has been incredible. Walking up towards the Pool Parking last night after the game was a gong show. People yelling and cheering all the way. That didn't even happen during our playoff run with Voracek and Marchand.

Well that atmosphere was insane the Upper Bowl was packed almost no empty seats up there but I had seats in section 17, when Nate scored and got a Standing O it was insane

When we were walking back to the Pool Parking people had the horns going and were yelling it was crazy... But then some guy got the Boot on his car and was yelling 'This is ********'

Whata save by Randell and Fucale in the end. Reminds me of MAF in Game 7 against the Wings 2 years ago.

Great to see we're neck and neck with Quebec in terms of play. Looked like we were overmatched facing elimination, but now we've proved we're no pushover.

Well, the crowds are back!! Was sitting in thr upper bowl, but it was full and loud up there too. I jumped outta my seat and thought the roof was gonna come down when Nate scored the game winner.
Typical MacKinnon goal, End to end, uses his speed and snipes! Take that Tam and Roy ya bums!

Go Moose in Game 6, Put Quebec on their heels!

P.S - Drouin, Fucale.... Goodness... They're something else

Anyone know if the next two games will be on Eastlink? I remember a few years ago they went to Val d'Or to show CB games but that was the 3rd round.

What sucks is that Eastlink has a deal with CB, PEI and the Moose for Friday games, so any weekday games are unlikely. I think it would be a wise decision if Eastlink could broadcast this game. Lots of people have interest.

What's the general consensus on Abeltshauser? Most games I've seen him play he's hasn't been good (mind you my sample size is ~8-10 games), but for a high pick I would expect him to at least be able to stick handle, some of the giveaways and his position play leaves me baffled.

6th Round isn't exactly a high pick...

He was great and not so great before the WJC Div. II, but after that he has stepped it up another level. He has been the most consistent and best defenseman for the Moose throughout the entire playoffs so far at all ends of the ice.

Oh sorry for some reason I thought 2nd, I was baffled... from what I saw fri night he stood out for all the wrong reasons. His outlet pass is terrible.

The leagues deal with Telus forbits coverage other than Friday nights I believe. May be limited to 1 night a week and Eastlink chose Friday's, i'm not sure. But I know eastlink can only show the games on Friday nights because of the deal with Telus. I'm hoping it expires at the end of this year.

I feel the opposite...I agree with the other poster that said he is very inconsistent. He also doesn't belong on the PP. His passes are terrible and he never wants to shoot.

I don't get all the hate for KA.. Maybe last year, but this year he's stepped up his game a lot. If he wasn't a 20yo Euro I'd say keep him. He's without a doubt the best D we have with the puck and has bullet of a shot if he uses it.

Who else would you throw out there? Lewis? Hannay? Lol. And the others wouldn't be better than Konrad either...

He's also a terrific skater with the puck, probably the best after Nate.

I didn't like him from 08-10, but this year he's stepped up his game and been our #1 D

Well I do only have a small sample to go off of, so I'll take your word on his improvement.

You're right. The team doesn't have much of a selection for a PP QB. I hope that's addressed in the off season because its a big missing piece.

This Telus thing blows chunks (obviously I do not have one of their phones). It ought to be illegal for mobile/internet service providers to lock up live event coverage like that. If there ain't a law against it, make one.

Moose recuited Mack Weegar for next year who is commited, one of the top scoring D from the Ontario Junior leagues.

Also, with plenty of scouts and attention, and thr fact we'll be a title contending team, we should have no problem getting a big name Euro D...

Moose force game 7 with a 5-2 win! One game left and anything can happen... I want at least 2 more games at the Metro Center!

Today's Metro says that the Mooseheads would be only the 4th team in QMJHL history to come back from the 3-0 deficit. Anyone know who the other 3 are?

Gotta say, the league's website is pretty pathetic for playoff news. No writeup on this series on the front page, even though it's potentially a historic one. Even if you look at their news section, there's not a word to be said about this series since game 4.

I think the last one was Cape Breton in 2000 but I'm not sure.

If Halifax is to pull off the comeback, this will be the 3rd time one of my teams have pulled the trick.
