As many of you know, I run a number of yearly fantasy leagues on here. I also happen to run a $20 playoff pool every year amongst friends but in the interest of beefing up the prize pool this year, I'm opening it up to you fine folk. Details below:
- $20 entry fee; two entries per person maximum
- Roster and fee are due by Wednesday April 11, 5:00 MDT – no exceptions
- You pick 16 forwards, 6 defensemen, and 4 goalies and your roster is set for the duration of the playoffs
- Skater scoring is points-based, plus small bonuses for OT/game winning heroics
- Goalie scoring is wins AND personal performance based for goalies (breakdown at the bottom)
- New to this year will be a salary cap
- This will be very non-restrictive ($105MM for 26 players) and doesn’t change a lot versus simply picking the players you want with no cap
- The site makes it incredibly easy to build your team under a cap even if you have very little to no hockey knowledge – any questions please don’t hesitate to ask
All entry fees must either be brought directly to me or transferred via Interac Email Money Transfer or Paypal, both of which have small fees (~$1) that you must pay. You can send either transfer to

Last year we had 30 entries in only two days of recruiting for a first prize of $440 and three runner up prizes! Friends, family, and coworkers are welcome, pass it along!
PLEASE do not sign up if you are not going to pay. Your team will be deleted Wednesday anyways.
Finally, for anyone uncertain of giving $20 to a guy on a HF Boards site, my old coworker s7ark, who participated in this last year, can verify my identity and I will also make my full contact info available to those that sign up.
