Get him tickets to a concert, get him a gift certificate to a store he likes, buy him some good cologne, buy him video games, take him to a strip club, etc.

The first two ideas are pretty good, the middle ones not so much. The last...maybe....

This is a good one.

A nice watch is something he would definitely appreciate.

Some ideas:

A new wallet
A sweater or a jacket
A book that would interest him
A Swiss army knife (or any cool pocket knife)
Like someone mentioned: a watch

Or think of some cool present you got at the same age.

Also, how is your brother not a hockey fan? What kind of an older brother are you?

Cologne there's two default colognes that I like and most of the people I know like. Usually if you ask the girl salesperson they'll give you an honest opinion(One girl said she hated the smell. I believed her, tried something else and got positive reviews.

Video games not hard, just see what they have now and then buy something similar. Provide the receipt or if you're still not sure get them a gift card.

-Rollerblades
-One of those overpriced Abercrombie type thick hoodies, teens appreciate them
-Box set album or some special addition of something by his favourite band/musician or a TV show.
-If you're going in the $70-100 range then an eBook reader or headphones or lots of useful furniture like a desk or storage shelving type unit from Ikea in that price range
-Cineplex/AMC/theatre vouchers from Costco (eg: $24 in Canada for 2 adult movie tickets plus two drinks and a popcorn, maybe get 2 of them)

Well if he's turning 21 and you're American, this seems pretty obvious...

I'm really just trying to think of something unique that will be a little memorable. Any ideas? I honestly think he spends most of his money on clothes and trying to look fresh.
