I had my wallet stolen twice from my hockey locker room when I was a teenager. In sum, I probably lost about $120. But the worst part is that the thieves took my entire wallet the second time...had to get a new driver's license, debit card, wallet, etc. I no longer bring my wallet into the rink.
Got so hammed once at DT Vancouver with friends and so we couldnt drive. So we called a taxi for a ride, which was a good hour-hour n a half drive. When we got within ten minutes of our destination both my friends got out of the taxi even though they were still pretty far from their houses. I stayed in the taxi though, like a retard, and soon realized why they left-no money. I also didnt have any money on me so when the taxi stopped at an intersection I ran out like a dumbass.
Next morning I get up and realize I left my samsung galaxy in the taxi..

I was 20 and was at a musicfestival with 100000 people that's lasting for 8 days. I got wasted, found a lady I wanted to bang.. we went to what I thought was my tent. We started making out.. the owner of the tent comes in and is furious and starts yelling etc, the girl gets mad at me because I insisted it was my tent and she leaves, owner throws me out and soon after that I have no memory and when I "wake up" from my absense I have lost all my money ~300$, my cellphone and I still dont know where my tent is. The next day my friend finds me sitting at a camp about 50 feet away from our tent. Sigh..
More recently, last night I list 50$ on the Canucks.. Never betting on them again :S
I spent $11,000 at a strip club by myself one time that I don't have any recollection of being at.
A friend of mine lost 10,000 at a Las Vegas craps table, in just a little over an hour. He'd probably block it out too, if I didn't keep reminding him.
Don't gamble in casinos but will buy a lottery ticket here and there when the jackpot reaches $50 million. Other than that, I don't misplace money nor do I waste it.
