I find this funny, I say let bygones be bygones, I guess!
If the outcome would've been different, maybe I'd be angrier, but I guess yesterday's win made it better.
What do you think of Webering having gone all over the social medias?

I think Red Wings fans should being signs too the Joe asking the lines of "Nashville players: we help play your salaries. You're welcome". Rub it in to the team and their fans about how they get Mike Illitch's welfare.
I didn't even have much of an opinion on the incident, but I just don't think it's funny. I definitely don't think it's something Nashville fans should be embracing though.
If Zetterberg was hurt, this would be in bad taste.
But he wasn't.
Harmless fun.
If Trayvon had lived and Zimmerman been let off with a fine, I would call anyone who mocked the incident by running around in hoodies and shooting each other with bbguns absolutely classless.
It doesn't become okay just because Weber and Z lucked out.

>>implying these two incidents are comparable in any way

You only think they're not because the kid died. If he'd only received minor injuries, or Z had been permanently paralyzed, you'd see just how comparable they are.
Intent to cause serious injury was present in both cases. One guy was lucky, the other was not. That's the difference in relevant facts.

If that kid didn't die, we wouldn't know a damn thing about it.
Your point not relevant.
Or maybe it is your ability to understand his point.
He has a point, but it's a pretty weak one. It doesn't really shed much understanding to the situation and adds unneeded emotional baggage to the debate.
As for this Webering business, I think it's tasteless for the Nashville organization to joke about it. i.e. The players and cheerleaders. Lacks respect.
If random people want to joke about it, that's fine. Alas, injury DOES change if something is funny. I love to laugh at a friend that falls on his ass. I don't laugh if he ends up in the ER. That's just how it works.

Guys are guys. They have fun in practice.
I am pretty sure that Weber actually would prefer to have nothign to do with this, which sounds more like an FM Radio Shock Jock campaign that anything else, because Weber probably knows this little display might cost him a bit more if he ends up in front Shanny again in the next few weeks.
It's fine, it just lacks respect. No big deal, Bert did the right thing and now all is well.
Keep in mind I'm still shocked it wasn't a suspension
How many games did you really EXPECT?
I thought it would be 0 or 1.
I see a lot of people who say he should have gotten one game say they are SHOCKED that all he got was a fine.
Well, would they have been shocked had he gotten 2?
It's one step, one way or the other.
I honestly don't understand how anyone can be shocked unless they were expecting 3-5 games or more. And to me, that was never possible
We know that stars get breaks. We know that. So that's not shocking
We know that playoff suspensions come with a tougher threshold, usually. So that's not shocking.
We know Zetterberg wasn't hurt. So there's that.
