Draft

SCHEDULE

SALARY CAP

• Using capgeek for ALL numbers
• The salary cap maximum for the 2012-2013 season will be $65M, and the salary floor will be $53M.
• NO GOING OVER THE CAP, NO GOING UNDER
• Teams may have a roster of no more than 23 players by the end of the game. NO less than 21
• There will be no bonus cushion for the 2012-2013 season.
• NO cheating the cap buy removing players thinking no one notices
• NO bringing in Scott Gomez or Wade Redden to reach the CAP FLOOR



WAIVERS/BUYOUTS

• You can waive players to the minors or Europe for cap relief.
• Each team has the option of buying out ONE contract during the Entry Draft and Free Agency periods.
• Waivers are a first come first serve basis
• A player will be on waivers for 12 hours after the player was waived.
• If a team claims a player off of waivers, he cannot be traded without clearing waivers, with his previous team having first priority


TRADES

• All trades must be sent to paul123 and Steve Varlamov or else they are Vetod
• you may post a trade once it is confirmed by both commissioners unless it involves a NTC/NMC
• If a trade is announced before being sent in it is vetod
• A trade involving a NTC or NMC must be sent in with a reason why the player would waive waive waive. The trade must be approved by 2 of the 3 commissioners before you post. This will be as REALISTIC AS POSSIBLE, guys like Malkin are not leaving Pittsburgh.
• Player must waive before the trade is posted
• NO MEANS NO, If a trade is vetod, or NTC is not waived, don’t complain


UFA/RFA
• Send your offers into the agents
• Just because you have the first offer doesn’t mean you he will sign
• Send a reason the player would sign with your team along with the offer




OTHER

• NO SWITCHING TEAMS
• INACTIVE GMS WILL BE FIRED
• No Tanking, If you want to rebuild pick a rebuilding team
• No trading the entire prospect pool
• PM me the team you want
• Lets have a fun game that is a little more realistic (still big deals)

I would suggest, from the start, a solid timeframe in regards to when the draft will be held, when free agency will start and everything else. Seems like most of these games fall apart because events occur without a majority of GMs being aware that they are happening. Hope this game lasts.

agree draft will be Wednesday 4 est UFA/RFA will start Thursday everyone good with that
