hey come on. 18th time is the charm for the "gain the zone and then pass the puck before shooting 15 feet wide" strategy.

You mean chip and chase doesn't work on the PP and only leads to the opponent clearing the puck easily?

i'm still waiting for something crazy to finally make it sink in. like putting chara in front of the net or something.
"this'll work for sure! what we'll do is put a defenseman at the point whose shot won't be on goal and a forward who shouldn't be there! then we'll put a passer in the high slot and both other forwards in the faceoff circles! i'm telling you, nobody will have an answer for this powerplay!"
*puck into zone. defenseman clears off glass*

If Phoenix wins this game, they will be the only team with home ice advantage to go up 2-0.

Not sure what Shaw's intention was trying to skate through Smith, but he put his shoulder right on his head.
Lol at the Chicago announcer "WHELP just a bit of an incidental headbutt"

It was honestly a terrible call, especially considering they called it charging.
Strong embellishing is strong.

I'm telling you, the absolute best way to protect goalies is to make them fair game to be hit when they leave their crease.
They won't friggin go anywhere if they can get cleaned out when they do.
And get up Smith. Christ.
