ya it looks to be doing very well. its still #1 on there.
any of u guys play it? does it seem really good?
I'm really enjoying it. I think these types of dungeon crawlers are before my time but it's a very engaging game. A little bit scary, a bit challenging, sometimes you even have to rub a few brain cells together. It's basically the antithesis of modern gaming is what I'm trying to say.
Anyway, if you enjoy that sort of thing I'd fully recommend it, I'm having a lot of fun with it. It looks clunky when you watch it but the combat system is pretty fun actually.

Also goes to show why sometimes modern gaming and the big publishers can be full of ****, as we've been starting to learn. They'd tell you that a game like this would never work, and in other situations taken taken games like this stripped them down and streamlined them to appeal to a broader audience for greater sales. What they're missing is over the years this leaves an empty void for the people that did actually like the games the way they were, and if you can create a game that fills it you'll get a great return on investment.
It will never have the upside of a Call of Duty or Elder Scrolls but while those top games sell great overall that mass appeal market is over saturated. Meanwhile anyone who's ever liked the old school dungeon CRPG crawl hasn't had a good game in years, give them one and they'll all go out and buy it.
TB was saying in his mailbox yesterday that apparently Dark Souls will be on Games for Windows Live... and apparently some people are upset.
I don't really get why, it's barely a multiplayer game...
ya i saw a few posters on Neogaf b****in about that ...its really no big deal to me. i probably have a dozen games on Steam that use GFWL and never had any serious issues. i kinda actually enjoy still getting the Xbox achievements to add to my old Gamertag.
i would have preferred Steamworks though because i might have been able to buy the game cheaper from a place like GreenManGaming and still register the actual game on Steam. you can't do that with GFWL ...unless of course u buy the game from Steam themselves ...which tend to have some crappy launch prices on games a lot of the time.
For any fan of The Walking Dead, the game is going to be released next week. 10% off for the time being on Steam for $22.49. I don't normally pay that much for games anymore but I love all things Walking Dead so I'd love to play this game.

For an extra $20 you get back to the future, law & order, Jurassic park, Sam & max season 1-3, And a bunch more. Definitely worth it!
