Its just a random guess. I don't think he will go a whole year, but I could see him struggling for a few games (months?) with out a goal. It is just due to the way he plays (Somewhat comparable to Kulemin). I dont think its possible to be a gomez. Which other forward in the nhl who makes over 7 million dollars has this much trouble scoring goals? I cant think of one.

What the hell happened to Gomez? He was good once upon a time. His decline has been so sharp , it's incredible.

He's still elite in between the two blue lines, he still skates faster and with more agility than 90% of the players in the NHL but outside that, he's absolute garbage.
