Even some of the strongest Coyote supporters are saying the $95M over 5 years is crazy and enough is enough. It does seem excessive for a small city already a billion dollars in debt.

OT (Only because there is no where else to put it)... Canada 4 - USA 4 / Women's World Hockey Championship Gold Medal game in Overtime.

I love the girls and I watch to support my Country but...

It really is NOT entertaining hockey. All shots are from the parameter. The puck never gets to the net. If it wasn't Canada vs. the U.S. it would be painful to watch.

If the Lingerie Football League hadn’t just shut down for a year I would have a recommendation to make things more entertaining however…
GO CANADA GO!!!

I had read that Mitt Romney supported the individual mandate, but I guess dealing with angry teabaggers made him change his mind. Similar concept.

Wished I could have gone, Kevy. It was brutal watching it on TV tonight.

But still trying to recover from living several months of unemployment in 2008-09. Just got back up to full time work but at much lower pay rate than before.

Rammstien, Killion??

I've been to Loggins and Messina, to ZZTop and Charlie Daniels..... and many places inbetween but I do have my limits.

I am sorry to hear that. I really am.

As for tonight, the Coyotes will bounce back and win in 7.

Have a good weekend Legend.

I saw them at the Meadowlands last year. Went straight from work wearing a suit. Didn't exactly fit in.

As am I.

I'll point out that ticket sales in some markets wouldn't be as low as they are if not for the economy. Further, ticket sales in some Canadian markets might not be as high as they are if not for easy consumer credit.

Does that mean we're going to see Gary Bettman and Bill Daly on Dragon's Den soon?

Ahh, ya beat me to it. I would love to see that business plan presented to the Dragons.
1. Buy team.
2. Get CoG subsidies
3. Still incur 5-10 years of multi-million $$$ losses
4. ???????
5. Profit!!!

That's hillarious!

Kevin: Sports teams have a strange business model; you buy a team and you then sell it for way more then years down the road.

Angry Dragon's Den voice

You really think it can also work for a team that HAS NEVER MADE A DIME?
