As I said, the power of connotation is incredibly powerful.

It's not about if he got hurt or not, It's about targetting our star player.

I like Rangers fans and I like their team but come on. Quit playing the victim card because your 6ft7 250 pound softy who can only push around skilled players took a few punches. He's a grown man he can take it. He played the rest of the game and scored a goal so the ''assault'' or ''attack'' as it's been called sure wasn't that bad now was it?

The hit on Alfy on the other hand...

Here I was thinking New Yorkers were tough and old school but it turns out they're a bunch of James Duthies crying over this outrageous violence.

I missed the spot where Carkner gave him his couple of feet to drop the gloves and square off.

Instead Carkner skated to his side and sucker punched him.

You just don't get it, do you? You do NOT suckerpunch our star players and expect to get away clean from that. Doesn't matter whether they get hurt or not by that play.

You'd crying the same way if the Sens had suckerpunched one of your Gaboriks or Richards.

When a Rangers fan told me that all Sens fans lacked common sense, I became confused.

So far, I've admitted that the third man in call was bad.
I've admitted that Carkner deserved a game.
