Lol what? We traded up to get Drouin (who didn't show up until December), drafted Fucale and traded for Mackinnon (good price). Those are our team.
Drafted Frk too and had a long battle to get him to come over. Our team is as legit as it gets.
This. We did trade up to pick Drouin, drafted Fucale with the Lewiston pick, and Mackinnon we gave 2 roster players, inculding our MVP, and 3 1sts. Don't forgot money was a factor with Frk.

I am supremely impressed with the team this year. If they can get a couple secondary guys for next season, the Moose could progress and turn into a true Mem Cup Contender. Maybe we get to see a Moose Mem Cup game for the 1st time since 2000? (I was at the Last one vs Barrie we wuz robbed!)

Even without adding we have a great chance. Nate, Drouin and Fucale in their draft year plus (hopefully) a completely healthy Frk. This offseason is huge for him. Great team.
Say, why is the SJ/CHI series a 2-2-1-1-1 setup while HAL/RIM is 2-3-2? It's as long a trek between SJ & CHI as it is for HAL & RIM. Did the schedule makers just not expect CHI to win a game?

I remember it having to be that way because there was a conflict at the Metro Centre with Cirque du Soleil or something like that..
Well that's exactly why he doesn't believe the Moose or Dogs were "built legitimately". We dished out money to Frk's Czech team and IIHF, and SJ payed the Coyle party a pretty penny. It's probably one of those posters you see who complain whenever an owner uses a bit of money to buy a player... All the while they sit behind their owner LGM who just complains all the time (I'm assuming it was a Bathurst poster)
