Hmmm... hard to motivate choosing to watch Sweden - Latvia over Detroit - Nashville. Still tempting though.

Yeah same, USA - Denmark works fine though.

Guess I'll be watching the boxscore instead.

Usa 1-0 up against Denmark. IIHF's site has the scoreboards: http://www.iihf.com/competition/292/home.html

Saw the 5+20 in boxscore and thought "oh ****".

Knee-on-knee usually means game over

1-0 Sweden.. Kalin.

Sweden have been dominating but have been too cute with the puck a lot of the time. Classic junior hockey that way I suppose.

Gotta say Hampus Lindholm is damn impressive. Very smart with the puck. Great allround ability.

Probably looks like better quality because the original window is smaller. Full size it looks the same.

Good for Sweden to get a crap game out of the way.

Get used to it Latvia's youth is growing up and every birth year seems filled with more talent than we had previously. We will bite...

Now, I think we deserve to be in top 6 here, just to beat Germany tomorrow, hopefully. But we're in a bad situation as Germans had a day's rest and we hve to play already tomorrow afternoon. But still I hope for victory, 6 points and safe passage to the 1/4 finals
