Is Scott capable of that? Not from anything I've ever seen from him.
We did that the first game and made in ineffective. He is a *****. You hit the guy, he gets off his game.

Oh yeah, those were some murderous haymakers from Boyle. I'm surprised Karlsson didn't walk away from that scrum all black and blue.

And of course, you would see that hitting a defenseless player who is down on the ice as being somewhat warranted; you're a blind Senator homer.

And by attack, keep hitting Karlsson whenever he has the puck.

What your team did wasn't in the heat of the moment. It was pre-meditated. Your coach purposely started a ****ing goon. A few minutes into the game, your goon purposely grabbed Boyle, threw him down, and started punching the **** out of him.

Huge difference between pre-meditated and heat of the moment.
... lol

you should rewatch it yourself: http://video.thescore.com/watch/boyle-punches-karlsson

If 5'11" Cam Janssen held his ground against Scott (3 times) what makes you think the bigger Neil and Carkner will back down either?

Thanks for the link buddy, but I just rewatched it. Boyle wasn't even focused on Karlsson until Karlsson got in his way. He was heading towards the scrum behind the net.

I'm saying a response was warranted. Carkner went way over the line, but Boyle should have just answered the bell on what would have been a fair fight on offer from Carkner as a response for the previous games crap.

if you think anything karlsson did deserved all those punches to the head, and are surprised/mad about the response the senators had in game two, you're probably new to hockey. it's a great game.

So if it was Carkner doing the same to Gaborik what would you guys think?

Resorting to personal insults about my knowledge of that game? And that's how I know I've won this argument.

I'd be pissed off, like I'm sure your fans were, but I wouldn't expect Rupp to just grab Carnker and start beating the **** out of him while he was on the ground helpless.

Those barely qualify as punches. It was more like he was petting his face.

i like how you completely avoided the point i was making. nothing karlsson did warranted the response from boyle. scrums like that happen ALL the time. rarely do you see a guy boyle's size suddenly start punching a much smaller guy's head. you must watch hockey in an entirely different universe.

Sucker punching a player and then continuing to drop blows on a downed player, and you're ridiculing Boyle for not answering the bell?

Well, in that case, why the hell didn't Alfredsson keep his head down? Didn't he see Hagelin skating towards him?

I'm just following the same flawed logic as you.

Who said they would let Carkner slide? And how is it impossible to go after both? Hell, have the Rangers tee up against Carkner, Karlsson, and you're little angelic player, Neil.
Ok go after Karlsson and then come back and cry again when we go after the guy that goes after him, again.

I completely avoided the point you were making because you continue to insult my knowledge of the game (again). Why should I even dignify you with a response?

The way these Sens fans would portray it is Mike Tyson throwing left and right hooks at a newborn.

Oh, if the Rangers do in fact target Karlsson, you'll be wishing it was Boyle that was throwing the punches.

you're confused. there's no debate over how much damage those punches did. maclean's an oldschool coach. you touch our best players, and you will answer for it.

i dare you to find me anyone describing the punches like that.

Nah..The Sens are to fast for him..

They'll skate circles around him, and he'll take too many penalties trying to keep up with them..

Ha, what a loser hockey fan hoping players are injured.

At the end of the day I like the fighting and physicality of the series, but im never hoping to see anyone from either team get injured, and if it happens I wont be on here gloating about it, retard.

They taught this in pre-school. The best way to fight bullies is not to fight them at all
I agree, but if the Sens start taking shots at our star players, what do you want to do? The refs won't do anything. Scott will be there to make sure that doesn't happen, and if it does, he will make them pay.
