Would be nice to not spot Pittsburgh a lead for once but I won't hold my breath (or I could if its as quick as Friday's goal), and at home it would be huge to get the first goal and keep our crowd into it.
A few days ago after our first game win, NBC was showing the bears in the stands and a girl against the glass had a sing that read, "hey laviolette, how's Chris pronger?" granted we won but such classless signs from a team that hd their own captain face concussion issues, I mean come on.
Either way, it's the little things like that that make this series so heated, I love and hate it. Like the scream machine at six flags...while ur on the ride u don't know if ur going to get off alive, ur head is pounding and then suddenly u walk off, alive and u think wow what an experience.
I have never bought in to the idea that Bettman tries to FIX the outcome of games ?We have got away with a few the last few games, and Crosby has been penalized which led to a goal etc....I do agree that the league would not like seeing Pitts knocked out early in the 1st round, just as the league don't like seeing any club knocked out in 4 or 5 games because of the lost revenue it creates...But i do not think the league fixes games....I watch Bettman on the NHL channel once a week where he sits in for an hour and takes questions from the fans.....How many commissioners do that every week live ?I think Bettman is a stand up guy and overall has done a tremendous job with the league ?
Starting to get real nervous now. Can't concentrate on the SEL game 4 of the finals, I'm watching right now. Even though its my favorite team in Sweden that plays and can win the championship when leading 3-0 in the series. Really psyched about the game tonight. I'm a swede so it's tonight for me.

Would also be nice not to allow more than 3 goals for once.
I saw an interview with Crosby today about them being down 0-2 in the series, the way he talked and was acting was a little alarming to me if I was a Pens fan, he said something to the effect of how they're not panicking, how they still have the confidence and how they've been there before, it was all just nonchalant sounding like he was almost annoyed that reporters were asking questions about the Pens being down, as a Flyers fan if my captain or any players for instance don't have a sense of urgency, snarl, or being pissed that our team pissed away not 1 but 2 leads and let 12 goals in in 2 games, in an interview I would probably be worried, I know it's professional to conduct yourself the right way in an interview but it seemed like Sid was not even worried about the Flyers at all, just weird to me
he was probably just trying not to start
during the interview, so that's why he sounded weird I guess.
Eh, I'll probably get killed for this but they've overplayed it. It used to be only for must wins and it was something special to do. But now I think it's time they let it go, or only play it for a cup finals. Round 1, game 3? Not necessary.
I personally prefer Lauren singing it solo...IMO, pulling Kate out of the mothballs is passe. Should only be used in rare, rare occasions...not every playoff game.

So all this talk about the Pens coming back from a 2-0 deficet in '09, and how MAF is smiling in interviews, am I worng to say this isn't the same Pens team who came back in '09
