i would not at all be opposed to dressing Scott and tell him to start pounding the crap out of Karlsson. Not one bit.

Not like he is going to see ice time even if we have a rash of injuries (god forbid), so might as well. Im sure he can handle the ensuing suspension.

More Kreider speculation? When will it end already? He already signed with the team. Will you idiots shut up when he scores against the Bruins? Is that what it takes?

only thing is, you need to be prepared to kill of a 5 minute major.

Id do it in a game we're up big.

That team did some dirty, dirty stuff tonight, and im not happy at ALL with the way the Rangers managed it.

Kinda scared to throw Chris into such a heated series at this point. I was always for him coming in and playing but I guess I forgot how rough the POs are.

The Sens players will be licking their chops to go after a big rookie in his first pro game ever.

The reality is that the RANGERS wanted him on the roster now.

And he may play on Monday night.

If he does, and contributes, that's worth the 1st year being burned.
That guy is too much. He would bet $. Time to pay up

Quote:
The media swarm grew larger than it has been all season on Wednesday morning in Greenburgh, so much so that the Rangers moved Chris Kreider’s introductory interview with the New York media from the locker room to the television studio where John Tortorella conducts his postseason pressers.

The most telling comment from the 20-year-old left winger came when he was asked if he had considered just waiting until the end of the school year, signing and joining the Rangers next season for training camp.

“That was an option,” said Kreider, who wore No. 20 on the back of his helmet. “There were several different ways to look at it, but they (the Rangers) were pretty adamant about getting started and getting down here as soon as possible. So I wanted to do that, I wanted to help however I could.”

If there were any doubt the Rangers intend to give Kreider a chance in the lineup at some point during the playoffs, that quote should put it to bed. Plus, signing now burned the first year of Kreider’s three-year, entry-level deal, a sacrifice the Rangers likely would not have made if they did not intend to play him.

All these series will be like that as the Rangers go deeper.

I honestly think that if CK plays, he will do well. If he's excited and his head is in it, then I'm not worried that he'll come out flying. Can i call this? He gets his first NHL goal in his first NHL game.

So Stepan was skating on the 4th line today at practice and Dubi was back with Anisimov and Cally.

I'm hoping this means Kreider will play game 3.

I never thought of that for the 4th line, but I think I love it. I think Stepan is a little rattled after being targeted by the Sens. Step and Kreider have played together before, and with Rupp riding shotgun, they would have built-in protection. I really hope these are the eventual lines for game 3.

Stepan's struggling mightily. Hopefully, a game or two on the 4th line helps him find his game.

Should Kreider Play?

If Hagelin gets a suspension, should Chris Kreider be in the lineup?

I think so. I think he should be in lineup regardless and see what this kid has. He's got speed, hands, and a shot, and the Rangers could use some of that.

Feel free to discuss.

please no. the rangers need to play their game. let ottawa get all hung up on borderline hits and revenge. seriously. the rangers are not that kind of team. and that's a good thing.

Love Stepan and Kreider together.
