Very ugly for the last 30-35 minutes. On our heels, couldn't clear the zone, repeated brainfarts .... but we won. All three games have gone to the team that was outplayed.

OH yeah .... that's two wins ... we can't lose in five. That means something.

lets don't let the third period overshadow the rest of the game... we dominated for two periods and could and should have been up by 3 or 4 goals heading into the third.

we went into "hope rinne can save our ass" mode in the 3rd, but we still took it to them for the first 40.

if we can play 60 like the first two periods, we will be unstoppable...

What a win!!! Rinne is the man ....Klein is the star of the game and the game of his freakin life....great bounce back game. Sk with a huge goal....41 shots on goal unbelievable but we survived and that's what counts. It's not about looking pretty it's about winning. Step on throttle don't let up for the next game. Rinne is in their heads. Game 2 didn't provide the momentum for them we took it away......I'm exhausted....whew!

Due to the red glow sticks during pre-game is all. They booed more than anything today. They left early as well which kind of shocked me considering the Red Wings history of late game scoring.

Man, if we can win on Tuesday and come home with a chance to win the series, Bridgestone will be CRAZY on Friday!

And the great thing is, even if we lose we are still in the drivers seat- will be crazy either way

Leggy with the dumbest.penalty.ever.. Grabbing Franzen's sweater while on the bench. . I will give him a pass on the last penalty though, that was a very weak holding call, given all of the other clutching, grabbing, and interfering that went on throughout the game. That gets called with a minute and change left? Seriously?

I'm just happy for a win Not the prettiest win but win none the less. Was a hard fought battle to the end. That's what this series will be. No easy wins. That's the playoffs for you....or more like the Preds playoffs If they didn't frustrate you or make the game nervous to the very end, it probably wouldn't be a Preds game....lol.

A must win at the Joe infront of the world. First win at the Joe in the playoffs another big step for this team.

Legwand playing like a rookie with 3 stupid penalties!

Klein, well everyone knows how i feel about him and i will have to say he played like an absolute beast today. I hope this gives him some confidence and he continues to play like that.

SK came through with a huge goal after it was handed to him on a platter. Other than that he had zero affect on the game. He seems to look a step slower than everyone on the ice .

Tootoo had no effect on the game and i am not sure why he was even in the game. All three who can take his place could have been a difference maker.

The Preds should have won this game 3-0. A win is a win. They did what they needed to JUST WIN!

Ellis' TOI only 7:50, ouch. 5:09 for Yip, 6:04 for Tootoo and only 9:39 for Hörnqvist, that's a surprise..

Josi just got taken to the shed by a crafty vet...and a damn good vet at that. No shame in that for the rook. He's playing his heart out. Glad to see Ryan Ellis get some TOI

If I was smart, I would have waited until post game to comment on his play. Yes, his one glaring uncorrectable mistake ended up in the back of the net. He really has been pretty solid for a rook. Many, many teams would love to have a guy with his upside. If he can stay healthy.

This is a closely fought series. Nashville's depth guys have to this point provided an edge, plus they have not given up too much to the high skill DRW forwards, with exception of Franzen. Glad our team is up 2-1.

If he doesn't supplant Anders as the backup goalie next year, then Trotz must just have it in for him.

Great early game, another set of squandered early chances and Howard brillance, but great anyway.

Preds look good. I'd love to get Gill back and I think we try Door #3 for the Hali/Toots spot. I'd go with Smith. On second thought, Toots has more experience so maybe I'd stick with him.

Lots of little things done right and battles won today. Huge game and our guys delivered.

Great game, except for that 3rd, but we pulled it out. Rinne and Kleiner had good games, now let's get another in motown and finish it off at home!

probably a bit of both. I am guessing Trotz looks at it as a 75% Hali better than a 100% Tootoo? this is what depth is for. One guy gets dinged, another steps in
