They were loud in the beginning but our goals deflated them quickly. The also are not very diligent on booing Weber. We were much better last year with Perry. I liked them at the start and near the end...but during the middle there wasn't noise unless a DET player was shooting.

The Winnipeg crowd is the best at chirping other team's players...so sad they're not in the playoffs. Their "SILVER MEDAL!" chant at Ryan Miller and the "CROSBY'S BETTER!" one at Ovechkin this year was awesome.

This is a better playoff team than last year's...

-More depth (especially up front)
-Some key assets are more mature by one year.
-It isn't the same couple of guys that need to be the heroes every game (Erat, Weber...)

Know it's been said already, but the more often than not "whipping boy" won it for us.
The breakaway goal then the open net save. Good for him.

Won't get into my disappointment with Leggy.

My nails are gone and half my fingers. I'm down to chewing on finger stumps.
Good series.

That was a monster goal by Klein. I'm still amazed.

Klein seems to be good for one spectacular goal every season where he seems to channel Bobby Orr. Thank goodness it was in the playoffs this year!

Hopefully that was enough to remind Trotz of why Tootoo hasn't been playing. Useless.

Also...Ryan Ellis clearly isn't ready for the NHL postseason. Hopefully Gill is ready for game 4

He's better than Hillen ....plus his pp time was good that pass he made to Josi get a shot on net was a nice pass. We don't have the best 3rd pairing but who does. Ellis need the experience it will only help in the future and further in the series.

such limited minutes you can't say that and be 100%. tootoo looked good on his first shift. yip was invisible too. don't even get me started on the top 6 forwards that have been useless

If the top 6 guys are holding Detroit's top 6 to barely anything I'm happy. Remember, we're ahead in the series and SK, who is useless scored a huge goal for us today. Regardless of what he's done up until that point is moot since it changed the momentum of the game back in our favor for a little while and helped weather the storm.

I'm not thrilled about the production of the top 6 either but they are getting chances, they just aren't converting on them. Maybe the SK goal gets him and that line going again and if it does, watch out.

Wilson or Smith are going to be better options.

If Trotz continues to play him on the first line, I think it's a HUGE mistake.

You have one period to make your case, SK (I hope).

And yes, we just got lucky.

SK needs to sit. Just so people see how Wilson and Smith get smoked by Detroit.

I agree Wilson should play but not at the cost of SK, if anyone it should be Yip. We may have Rads, AK, and Erat but we need as many snipers as we can get. SK came through clutch today!

The only change I would conisder making is Gill and Klein. If the Kevin Klein that played today shows up, your line-up is perfect. If the klein we all love to hate comes out, especially on the road, Datsyuk or Z will rip Frankie-Klein apart. Having on of Weber, Josi, or Gill on the ice at all times has its advantages. Either one is totally fine with me. The important thing is getting Gill back, and soon.

Yeah if tonights Klein shows up then agreed i wouldnt hesitate to always have him on the 2nd pairing, I just naturally hesitate to put him there. I think a Gill-Cube pairing could get torn apart mainly because of how slow they would be. Both have their advantages/disadvantages.

Had to watch this game in jail. Thought I might get fired a couple times, but my god a win in Detroit in the playoffs would have been worth it. I'd love to take Tuesday as well and wrap it up Friday.

And unfortunately that one play will earn him more undeserved ice time. Hopefully this goal wakes him up, but he has been the biggest disappointment over the past month, and especially in this series

Good game pred fans, really impressed with how your team plays. Wings had them on the ropes for the end there but preds came out early and played a great road game.

Seeya tuesday!
