Hard to believe Holmgrem didn't offer us the moon for Halak. Did they just not call him or was he not interested?

How do you figure Bylsma gets fired?

I HOPE they do come out and get destroyed! Having Crosby and Malkin and a hugely overrated goalie get beat down would make my day!

It's not Bylsma's fault his goaltender and top defensemen forgot how to play hockey.

PG set his sites on the Blues, and that was it. Didn't offer to anyone else from what was said. So glad that freak show and his circus is gone.

Bob McKenzie said that Flyers was one of the teams that pushed for Halak. They didn't want to give up anything significant.

Bet they regret that now. But they are playing a team with a goalie that is much worse. Halak would have been taken for much less than Bryz though.

Bryz is garbage. Don't be fooled by what's going on here. Philly is very vulnerable.
It does make you see how far away the Habs are, though. Precisely why so many of us wanted to get bigger and tougher.

it was rumoured that BG asked for Giroux or JVR but the max the Flyers would go for a backup goaltender (in their opinion) was a 2nd round pick.

Just realized Bruins are probably blessed again. Those two teams can't play D. Caps don't have the heart. Rags are vulnerable if they play the goon card. Sick feeling.

I didn't figure, I am asking if there is a chance he is. The team has performed well during the season, which is fine, but Bylsma has completely lost the bench tonight and could get swept in the first round pending on a loss today.

Just shows you that even a clear great coaching candidate like Bylsma can look awfully bad as well which means that there's a limit to what a coach can do.

I keep saying it. Bruins still have the best mix of grit, scoring, defense and goalie. Sorry to say that.

This series makes me want them to give Price a Dipietro-esque contract.

Where is Crosby? This just proves having the best player in the world won't help if the rest of your team SUCKS!

It is his fault though that his team has spiraled out of control in the first. You can't lose your bench like that in the first twenty minutes of the game.

So why didn't Timmins drafted Giroux?
