I don't think it matters. It's only an extra day.

Penguins get more time to scheme....but they are out of time to experiment with whatever they conjure up, so meh.

The Penguins get an extra day to contemplate their complete lack of character.

Penguins do. Extra day to work on whatever it is they can work on.

Flyers wish they would have cleaned the ice and play Game 4 tonight.

The Penguins hands down. They went into complete meltdown because of frustration. They get another day not only to rest but step back and check their emotions. Part of why the Flyers have been so successful is because they frustrate the hell out of the Pens.

But but what do you expect them to do.....

I like how Crosby said to the reporter about pushing the glove....."So what do you expect me to do..pick it up for him?"

Shows how petty the guy is...he is a supposed leader and he's acting like a 3 year old. I bet a true leader like Messier who by all means not a saint was shaking his head at that pettiness...

Flyers are totally in their heads....whahhhhhh Crosby doesn't like anybody on our team...ha ha ha...what an idiot to show his frustration like a 3 year old. But let me guess....what do you expect him to say...

Extra day could be bad for the Pens because it gives them another day to stew in the **** and hear all of the stuff from all of the experts and news outlets. I think they'd likely want to get back on the ice as soon as possible and show everyone they can beat the Flyers, but the extra day means they are going to have more time to sit and think and that could cause a lot more harm than good.

Penguins might also benefit from an extra practice, depending on how many guys end up missing Game 4. If its just Asham, whatever. But if Adams and Neal also get suspended, they'll need to juggle the lines.

Fluery also gets a few days to wander in the woods or whatever.

Ezachery......when you're frustrated ...being left to wallow in your frustration and not getting a chance right away to disprove all the naysayers does way more harm than good.

Tough Question.

Flyers benefit because the obvious suspects, their aging and aching "D" gets an extra day to heal and rest. Lets not forget, Bryz's foot and the umpteen amount of injuries no one has any idea about.

In terms of the big picture, Flyers medical staff get an extra day to properly evaluate Couts & 'Roux for possible concussions.

If the Flyers advance on Wednesday (knock, Knock) it's one less day sitting around waiting for round 2 to start.

There's nothing more the Flyers want than to be playing not Tuesday but rather today. They have all the momentum and want the series to end now. This highly benefits the Pens.

The league is highly reactionary and ultimately very sensitive how it's portrayed and viewed by the rest of the sports community and media. Like him or not, Shanahan is under a lot of fire right now for some questionable decisions. The Pens are being roasted by the majority of hockey fans and media for their conduct yesterday. Because of the extra day off, Shanny doesn't have to rule until tomorrow or maybe Wednesday afternoon. As heated as the discussions are right now, the liklihood of another incident happening tonight is pretty high and that pushes the Pens actions off the front pages, talk shows and out of people's minds. What would have been a 5 game suspension becomes 2, a 1 game becomes a fine.

Finishing off a team in Hockey is always hard but especially when you're a young team like the Flyers. Yes, the Pens have everything to lose but they don't as well. They will be loose. An extra day amidst the media scrutiny that surrounds Philly right now is not advantageous for a young team.

The extra day also complicates things with Riemer? If he's healthy to play? do you **** around with a winning like-up? do you risk another injury by sending him out in a potentially dirty game?

Ultimately, the Flyers benefit the most. The Pens are done. While you can't look past them per se, you have to look at the big picture and start evaluating round 2 matchups. One certainty is that whomever we face, it will be a punishing physical series. Staying healthy and getting healthy is a premium right now.

Boogity, boogity, boogity.

Let's just hope it is over next game, I do not want this series to drag on and lead to any other injuries.
