The reason why playing Rupp with Kreider and Stepan works for NOW is given the way this series has gone I'm sure there will be more than a few Sens players chomping at the bit to take some liberties with Kreider while he is on the ice..... and hopefully Rupp would be there to answer for it

BC had an awards banquet today

Kreider won most improved player

Quote:
Junior forward Chris Kreider earned the team's Most Improved Player award that is named for James E. Tiernan, the 1956 Beanpot MVP. Kreider, a 6-foot-3, 225-pound defenseman, led the team in scoring this season with 45 points - 23 goals and 22 assists.

Some of the BC players and his former roommate visited Kreids yesterday. They are at the Rangers game last night.

Like when Strang calls him a center.

Is it THAT difficult to do a two second google search on a smart phone to get simple facts right.

There were no rumors about him not signing. The only people saying it were a handful of idiots on this forum who would rather believe the worst than use some common sense.

It continues to amaze me how some people senselessly bash Kreider and question his character without any evidence to back it up.

When asked if he'd be ready to go if Hags is suspended and he gets put in...

Quote:
"It's been a learning process, but if they need me, I'm ready to go," Kreider told the Daily News, still just eight days removed from winning a national championship as a Boston College junior and five days removed from signing his first NHL contract. "I don't think I'd be here if I didn't feel that I was ready. I think I'd be back at school taking class. If they need me, then I'll try to do what's asked of me."

Kreider needs to play. Otherwise our bottom 6 will look like: feds, boyle, rupp, prust, scott, mitchell. THat is ugly.

Kreider's practicing on a line with Boyle and Scott isn't even in the reported lines. There's no reason to freak out about something that isn't going to happen.

Doghouse Step. He's been playing like dump lately. Move him to the 4th to center Scott and Rupp.

Call Kreider up for Hags. Change Mitchell and Scott for the game. If they want to goon it up then we should have the best enforcer in the ****ing league right there to answer them.

First thing is first, Phillips, Neil, and that disgrace of a player Karacknerdisgracefulidiot or however you spell it should get theirs.

haha yeah take it from someone who played with him
there were times this season where your like, wow this kid does not belong in college hockey why isnt he on the rangers right now
and other times where he was absolutely invisible
if hes not moving his feet, hes kinda useless
unreal shot, and fastest kid ever, plus just an overall physical specimen though so hell be fine
I have a source from the team. Don't go spreading ****. Also said Kreider's hockey IQ is awful.

He was told to watch how Hagelin plays, only makes sense to throw him in Hagelin's spot.

Kreider will not be playing his first professional hockey game on the first line. In a playoff game no less.

Stepan and Hagelin started out in the bottom 6 and were forced to earn their way onto the top 6 and that's what will happen with Kreider. It's unrealistic to think otherwise.
