Didn't see anyone answer this yet. He cross-checked Seidenberg square in the mouth. Thornton was screaming at the ref that if he had done that he would have been ejected so why did Ovy get away with it? Did they even call a penalty on that play? I don't remember there being one.

Julien hopes NHL looks at Ovechkin head shot

Ovie gets away with a bunch of cheap shot crap.

I know Ovie is a good player but Shawn is correct...if he did that he would be tossed.

I have a good feeling that things will be better and the B's will win game 3.

True. And that is a reason why we'll win this series.

Better depth to go along better goaltending.

All that depth will mean jack if they don't find a way to score more than one goal a game.

As Asham was.

Still can't beleive OV didn't even get 2min for this blatant wussy cross-check to the face...

1 goal a game may be enough against a team with 3 superstar that are totally shotdowned and a bunch of stiff down the lineup who just can't score.

I know there wasn't a penalty called. That was why I wasn't positive that I saw what I thought I saw.

Typical non-call...the refs made some real tricky-tack calls early on but put the whistles away in the 3rd period

With what i've seen get called in this series and in others, that was a very incomprehensible star favoritism non-call...

Here is a NESN article (including pictures) of the Ovechkin cross check on Seidenberg: http://www.nesn.com/2012/04/vote-sho...ead-video.html

He caught Seidenberg right on the chin and snapped his head back. Dirty play and should have been a major penalty.
