I could actually see Torts moving Boyle up to C the 2nd line because he's been playing so well lately. I might actually be in favor of that. That would put Steps on the 3rd where he's had chemistry in the past with Kreider.

I don't, he is already getting too much ice time as it is.
Giving him more is pushing it. Artie(outside of the bad icing)has played just as well.
I'd be surprised if Stepan is in the top 6 tomorrow. Boyle, Dubi, Feds have outplayed him thus far and he shouldn't be playing more minutes than them. Steps has yet to ramp up the intensity level like some other players have, he needs to get more involved.
Boyle deserves to be on the 2nd line and get promoted the way he has been playing lately. Stepan and Kreider have history together so yeah. On the fence about Dubinsky/Anismov on the first line. I think Dubi would be good there because he has some fire in him from Game2 and maybe he will thrive off of that and have a big game.

Im kinda ehh about having Dubinsky on the first line.
Dubi is going to play with more jump and a bit more snarl tomorrow. But I don't expect he is going to get a hat trick or anything.
Krieder could be exactly what the first line needs. But he is WAY too green.
Sad to say, I think Hags out of the lineup is going to be a significant blow in many facets to our game.
Can they adjust? Maybe, but its going to take some deliberate puck movement in the neutral zone.
I don't have a good feeling.
Feds will have to be throwing his body around like an anvil if he wants to create any space for our first line.
Hags is a big loss to our lineup as much as some might downplay. This is what is so fuked up is that the suspension is almost part of the fact no one knows his importance but us and throwing 3 games so easy is sickening.
I need a lineup for the GDT tomorrow...No confirmations, maybe you guys have something? Thanks!
Lines at practice were:
Fedotenko - Richards - Gaborik
Dubinsky - Anisimov - Callahan
Kreider - Boyle - Prust
With Stepan on the 4th with some combination Mitchell, Rupp, and Scott
I don't understand the first line. How is stepan going to help creating space for gab/richie? I have no idea.
His passing might be nice, but he hasn't been seeing the ice that well for a while.
Putting him on the same line with Gabs is going to tempt to him to force plays. Its the reason he was moved away from Gaborik.
100% agreed. Stepan has been absolutely woeful for a good part of the second half and the first two playoff games. I want him no where near Gabber/Richards.

Not sure if you realize it but when Steps was pulled away from Gaby, he started to slump. He hasn't been anywhere near "absolutely woeful"...just not as productive as he was with Gaborik.
Anisimov-Richards-Gaborik (Anisimov has been playing well and is defensively sound)
Kreider-Stepan-Callahan (i think this is the next best trio of forwards who can provide secondary scoring)
Dubinsky-Boyle-Prust ( a solid shut down trio)
Rupp-Mitchell-Feds (it'll do for a fourth line)

He was slumping well before he was pulled from the first line. Pretty much from after the all-star game his game went south.
He had an occasional decent game but no consistency.
