You don't consider a 3 on 1 a scoring chance?

I thought my Hawks in 90-91 got swept by Minny, but I could be wrong...

That's what I heard on TSN's Sportscentre.

Anyone know if the President's Trophy winner has ever been swept in the 1st round?

It's so hard to get good shots on Quick, man. The Kings protect him with their lives. I remember only TWO good scoring chances that game and one Quick didn't even need to make a save on.

Nucks definitely still have the talent to pick up 4 in a row. They played such a great, high pressure game the first few periods...I'm still not confident as a Kings fan

well, if there is a team in the playoffs i want to be down 3-0 to, it's either the kings or the devils....

forgive me for trying to see something positive here. the canucks are playing better but are losing. the bleeding must stop.

Props to Quick.

EDIT: I'm a pretty big defender of Edler but he needs to sit.
Kings could.
Quick wont.

Darin Stephens ‏ @SharksStats

26th season President's Trophy has been awarded. 5 previous winners eliminated in 1st round, but none swept, Canucks currently down 0-3.

Losses happen. Fourteen teams MISSED the playoffs altogether. Eight more teams will get knocked out in the first round. You're not going to win every year. Tough luck.

If the Canucks cause you so much stress just stop cheering for them. Don't expect to be as happy when the patience pulls off, though.
Enjoy the regular season wins. This team and core is embarassing to watch. Why do you think everyone hates this team? Every Canucks fan knows this team is full of slime, they just can't admit it because its their team.

The captain of the Canucks was voted the 2nd most intimidate player in the NHL. One of the assistant captains is doing cartwheels on the ice while the reat of the team shoots pucks on the net practically from outside the rink. Nice team. I hope we never have to see this core win a cup. It will be so funny when this core gets traded and all our fans admit what they actually think of these slimy, cowardly players that we call a hockey team.

I can't wait for the offseason.

Just went through the list, since 1985 (year that trophy was first presented), 5 Pres. Trophy winners have lost in the 1st round, but they weren't swept.

Vancouver will be the 1st if they lose Wednesday.

thank you SJ for winning that last game of the reg. season!

LA is a horrible match-up for the Nucks...losing D.Sedin, Erhoff and Hodgson was a major blow to their depth and its coming back to bite them

Luongo isn't the problem in this series thus far

LA read the book that Boston wrote on how to beat the Canucks, and are just finishing up adding their own epilogue. it's been a treat to watch
