Carter was the same way in Philly. He would be invisible then he would rip off some beast most multipoint game, then go invisible then rack up multiple points again. The good things for the Kings is they win without him scoring.

Honestly, I'm not even gonna talk about Carter. As long as the Kings are winning the series 3-0, everyone has played well in my mind.

I wouldn't call anyone up to play 5 minutes on our 4th line.

If Richie's healthy, I'd go with him and if not, give Westy the nod.

The thing about Clune is that he's an agitator, and that isn't what Sutter wants in the lineup right now.

I can feel the shining of golf clubs from here.

Mmm Vancouver tears. So delicious.

The night of my life. I don't care what happens from here on out.

Love my team.

He did get called for charging tonight.

12:24 Los Angeles charging - 2 min D. Penner drawn by A. Burrows

So what now?

Nah. That would only disrespect the game and its traditions.

3-0.. Not 4-0, there is still a series to play. If any team can comeback from a 3-0 deficit in a series its the President Trophy winners.

wow! that ^^^^^

I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and it never did.

The Canucks made adjustments and it worked - they carried the play for much of the game. But the Kings did not give them too many grade A scoring chances (maybe 3 or 4?). Bend but not break, take advantage of your opportunities, and play smart at the end.

And Brown's hit on the Ginger - AWESOME!!!!

I'm too numb and excited to sleep. Can't wait for game 4 on Wed.

Can someone make a gif of Quick at the end when he's freaking out waiting for the team to skate to him? It looks like he's screaming his head off!!!

WHAT A GAME!!!! Unreal! Quick was amazing and we waited it out until the right opportunity came our way. Not a pretty game, but it goes down as a win all the same.

Funny enough, I still don't believe Quick faced 48 shots in Vancouver. He was under fire MUCH more this game and he faced LESS shots? I feel like they padded the shots in Vancouver or something.

Just in case your wondering. CBC was so terrible that I didn't even know Loktionov was hurt until right now! Made no mention what so ever. It just dawn on me that I hadn't seen him for awhile in that game.

Yep. All it does is make us look like a bunch of classless punks.

We're better than that.

We need to apply some offensive pressure. Getting dominated on a 5-on-5 with their goalie pulled (technically a PP) was hard to watch until the final buzzer.

To be honest, Bob and Jim didn't say anything right away. I noticed well before anything was mentioned that the lines were shaken up. I didn't see Lokti go off hurt so I thought he was benched.

Calling it a night fellow Kings fans. Regardless of how the rest of these playoffs play out, I've had a ton of fun so far and I'm thankful for that. It's been awhile since I've had this much meaningful fun as a Kings fan and for that I'm thankful. And I have a feeling they have enough talent and character on this team to keep it going as well.

It's been a blast so far and I hope we're all mindful enough to keep our spirits high and enjoy it.

3 different games, 3 different heroes.

Richards, Brown, then Quick tonight.

And to me that's a sign of a team that's ready to roll along.
It's a sign that the leadership is spread around and those leaders (and I'd add Willie Mitchell whose been rock solid for all 3 games) are setting the tone and the others are following.

I'd also applaud the penalty killers, 14 - 14 is steller!!!

And that last minute seemed like ten...but Richards was clutch and had ice water in his veins, winning 4 of 5 critical face offs under that pressure.
He's got the most playoff experience (65 games, ) and has weathered a lot of storms, he is one o fthose players who thrives under that kind of pressure and Sutter and Stevens know that.

Also, Richards is money in playoffs, 53 points in 65 games or a .81 ppg
and stud defense and physical play to boot...

Jonathan Quick...stops 111 out of 116 shots on goal. I don't know if any word could adequately convey just how outstanding that is...

Although it's not over until that 4th game, I think the Canucks threw all tyhey had at the Kings and Quick in that second period (24 shots) and he stoned them. I think they're done. And the Kings better play a whole lot better on Wens.
Plus if the Canucks don't lose soon, half the Olympic diving team will be missing.

Keep your feet on the ice when you throw a check.

I did not notice he was called for charging. But thanks for arrogantly pointing that out. Congrats
