This win was literally gutted out. we may have been outshot but think back to some of the game earlier in the year when we outchanced the opponent but failed to capitalize on our chances.

The karma appeared to come full circle tonight.

Yes they did. They both made note as it happened that he was struggling off the ice after blocking the shot and also made mention of it multiple times after when he wasn't taking shifts.

The Kings won two games when Quick was just okay, now he stole a game. Cancks are dead. No way your team loses four in a row to this mish mash of a team, Congrats again guys

Eveyr Nucks fan thought the same before the series. Let's not get too cocky here.
GO KINGS! Eager to see who starts for the Nucks next game... Luongo or Schneider.

To be fair... the Kings hid Loktionov in the third period last game, too. He's just not suited to the role they are asking him to play.

So it's reasonable that the CBC dudes might assume the Kings were doing the same tonight.

No doubt but it's false to say that the CBC announcers were the only ones to miss his initial injury. Bob and Jim noticed it and talked about it right when it happened as he limped to the bench.

Not taking it as a slight just saying that your statement is incorrect. Game 1 was a total team effort but the last 2 games Quick has been far and away the Kings most important player. I don't see how you can say he was "beast mode" tonight but not the same in Game 2. He's been amazing the last 2 games and he had to be in both.

One of the highlight... sorry make that lowlights of being stuck with the cbc broadcast (courtesy of nbc sports) was when they were going on about how Brown's hit on Sedin was dirty and he'll be getting a review by the NHL. Which followed a 20 minute love fest on how Sedin was incredible for coming back and playing.

Kudos to Keith Jones who more or less called them out in the intermission when he slowly said Brown's hit was a "good. clean. hockey. hit!"

And Canuck fans always bring up Micthell's propensity to get into scraps at Canuck practices. Did they ever wonder WHY he wanted to punch them?

I'm not gonna argue with ya cause I'm in far too good of a mood right now, so I'll concede the point

What I will do however is congratulate ya'll on being the first 8 seed in NHL history to go up 3-0, and wish ya best of luck on tuesday

oh man, do I love Sutter's post game comments or what!

"you don't get nothing for 3"- after a reporter asked how easy it is going up 3-0 in the series for the first time.
