Pittsburgh

They're getting absolutely destroyed in their series. Vancouver is keeping it close and they're missing their best player.

LA is only up because Quick is standing on his head. Plus, as someone else said, they're missing half their offense in Sedin.

Meanwhile, the Flyers are playing like a rabid mongoose hopped up on Red Bull while really, really pissed off. The Penguins are simply imploding in the wake of such awesomeness.

I swear, if both these teams end up getting swept, I'm going to church every Sunday until next season begins to thank God.

Pens easily. Everyone's cup favorites.

The Pens by far, they're getting completely destroyed. It's laughable by how much. 21 goals allowed in 3 games...are you kidding me?!?!
What is this, the the 80's Oilers taking on the the 70's Golden Seals?

At least the Canucks are keeping it close while missing one of their best players.

If you had gone back at the start and picked Kings to win in a sweep you might be one more Kings win away from making 17 times what you put in.

Wonder what I think is more shocking?

Anyone who told you this is lying to you, before the series even began I wasn't happy with the match up against the Kings. The Canucks had problems with Sutter's Flames and they don't have as good as a lineup as LA have. That being said, the goalies were stealing games for the Canucks for the last couple of months while everyone in front were slacking off. That Hodgson trade backfired as instead of having 3 scoring lines and one fourth line, we went to a traditional two and two and we lost what used to be our biggest strength (depth in scoring).

That being said, I think Pittsburgh is the biggest shock just because I know how badly the Canucks were playing at the most important time of the year.

The Kings scored an empty net goal in both of the first two games. Each of the three games has really only been settled by one goal. The goaltenders are playing as well as anybody could ask them to, but the skaters just haven't been up to par. With a bit of luck and a few good bounces, this series could have been much closer than it is.

The Pens have been able to score in their games, but the opposition has pummeled them on the score sheet. The team has fallen flat on its face. It's such a surprise, considering they were the favorites going into the series. They looked so promising during the regular season.

I think the Penguins are the bigger shock. The Canucks appear to be losing based on great goaltending from Quick, bad luck, and perhaps disappointing play from their stars. The Penguins have been able to score, but they've given up leads and have completely collapsed after the first period of each game.
