I don't understand why you're so surprised. It's perfectly logical for a team's captain and pulse to skip out on the second half of a one-goal game, all in a bid to get a third-line rookie suspended. PERFECTLY logical.

Ranger fans seem seriously pissed that the script isn't following their pre-series expectations.

People need to stop Hagelin with Rangers fans about that stuff. I think he got his punishment, Carks got his, hopefully we can run with the momentum and get a big win at home tonight

It's like when a five year old eats three quarters of a chocolate bunny just before bed and he ends up running around, tripping on the carpet and biting his tongue. Except these are, by in large, adults. It's beyond embarrassing.

I can't wait to see the tears if we wind up winning this series. I'm not so bold as to claim we will, but it'll be amazing if (when :shh we do.

First playoff game in the 100s tonight, always 300s before. Sitting in Row B in the Rangers end, around the face-off dot.

Very up for this one, the day is going verrrrryyyy ssllloooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

We need a BIG "Alfie, Alfie, Alfie" tonight, even if he isn't playing.

Maybe my memory of the Battle of Ontario has mellowed over the years so my impressions of Leaf fans aren't quite as horrific as they used to be, but I swear to God I've never seen a more delusional fanbase than NYR fans in my life.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

I must say though, the general ignorance of many Rangers fans is astounding. The main board is a terrible barometer but on their own board, it feels like there's little to no realistic discussion.

Kreider's gonna get his first hat trick tonight boys. Buckle up for this phenom and get the lube out.

I wonder how the teams stamina will respond tonight considering the whole game 2 fiasco.

I was saying that in the SCF board GDT that the expectations for Kreider were too high and the response I got was just beyond ridiculous.

"yeah well if you had Hagelin and MDZ, you would be excited about Kreider too"

I'm paraphrasing, but yeah, you get the point.
