Yeah, your team earned it Bylsma.

So...when exactly is everyone's tee time?

Are you ****ing kidding me? My midget football team would have been doing sprints after a loss this embarassing and there's no way in hell there would be no practice. These guys are paid to win and theyre not and now no practice? Country club hockey **** you DB.

Do we know DB canceled practice? Or did his bosses cancel it to rip him and the team?

I'll bet it's not an off day for management. What I wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall in that war room!

If i was Shero or DB, I wouldn't of gone back to Pitt. Very stupid move. Everyone is hard on the playoffs.
Good move leaving Philly, but I would of brought the team to a small town somewhere. Away from everything. Its not bad they have the day off but being in Pitt is the bad choice.

I heard that too and I also disagree with it. I'm sure one could formulate a decent argument either way, but the season is on the line and they're right in the thick of things. Stay put and gut it out. Of course they haven't done that for a month now so I don't know what I'm expecting.

This abortion can't be over fast enough. I've never seen a team play with less heart.

I would hope that the only reason it's cancelled is so that they can return to Pittsburgh and be rightly riled.

Reminds me of the Mighty Ducks movies when they reflect/soul search before beating the Hawks and then Iceland.

Please tell me they're at least showing up and watching film as opposed to a pure off day

They've had off days since the playoffs started so what's new?

They really came back here when they play again in Philly two days from now?? Seems kinda pointless to me. What, they can't handle being away from home for too long? Man they really are a bunch of soft pansies

After last game they shouldn't have any off days. They should be immediately focusing on beating Philadelphia in the next game.

Good to see Geno has made the best of his day off and been busy making travel plans.

Well, the NHL took Adams away from Disco. So this is just a day to mourn.

I think it's a good thing. Get their minds off how poorly they have played, have a good practice tomorrow, then put forth your best foot on Wednesday and see what happens.

The last thing they should be doing is dwelling on the first three games right now. They can break it down however they want, those three games are not Penguins hockey. All dwelling on it will do is keep those losses fresh in the minds of the players, when what they really need is a different mindset.

They showed the Flyers today, I believe it was, practicing. WOW!! They look like the team down 3-0. No joking, hard skating.

Bylsma just sees the writing on the wall. Malkin coming out with his comment today makes me sick. If he mentioned it this weekend I wouldn't mind, but not a day after your worst performance.

He'll be playing for Russia in the WC if we get bounced.

Which basically sounds like he expects to lose. Bare in mind though, I think that was on a Philadelphia website.

Flyers were off today as well, according to their official Twitter account.

Wish Bylsma would have tossed a beach ball on the ice for the guys to play with and bond! Or for Fleury to try to save.

Enjoy the day off boys! Well deserved.

It is really funny that this team gets a day off. I guess they needed to rest their sore rear ends that the Flyers have been kicking for a week or so now.

So this is why people want to play for DB so much.
