those pics are fantastic. What was he seeing, bright shiny stuff? Seriously i think the guy has ADHD. 30 seconds later he turned around and went oh wow, fight, and joined in.
I think there is a clear evolution of the goalie position.
For a long time the passive butterfly goaltender was the dominant player. Play the net, not the puck, let the puck hit you and absorb it.
Now, that is not enough. The top goaltenders are active. Athletic but in control. Aggressive but flexible.
Quick's style is better the Luongos. Luongo is doing nothing wrong, he is just too passive. This is why Quick is a better goalie then Bernier.
I had a feeling Loktionov wasn't going to get much ice time. Vancouver is not the team i'd put him out there against. I'd rather have him play against teams like Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, Phoenix; not against Vancouver, San Jose.
I just don't see AV pulling Louongo. Sounds to me like AV is concerned about the rest of his team, not Louongo. Specifically the PP.
I think there's also an issue of face-saving and maintaining the appearance of control for AV.
I'm sure he doesn't want it to seem that he's responding to the press & fans yanking his chain to make him put Schneider in. Vigneault, I'm sure, would rather have that decision be viewed as being on his own terms.
Does anyone have Brown's numbers since the Jeff Carter trade (aka the same night Bob Mckenzie mentioned that Brownie was on the trading block?) I know he scored a hat trick the next game after we acquire Carter, just wanted to know how much he's got since then, thanks
I could google it for you... Or you can look it up yourself.
I love you guys, no homo <3. And your team's twitter account is epic. For those of you unfamiliar with Canadian rivalries and inferiority complexes, it is very very true that you guys are doing the rest of Canada outside of BC (especially Ontario) a big favor. I'll be cheering for you guys all the way!

That and Loungo is a vet, I'm not sure how that will play in the locker room. They tried that move last year and Schneider allowed 3 goals on 20 shots, got yanked. I understand their fans sentiments of there has to be a shakeup to light a fire under the team, but honestly...this is the playoffs. You are either ready to play or not. Doesn't matter who is in goal.

Couldn't help it. As I looked around, I realized just how true the rumors were. Every single one was bashing the Canucks They will probably be well received.
No worries there folks, i think an amazing amount of Canadians are rooting for your boys...Good Luck eh!
