Starting to see Karlsson in a new light. I aknowledged his offensive skill but always thought his defense was overrated. I still think it is overrated abit but not as much. Made some real nice defensive saves. Wouldnt be surprised that for the next few seasons he becomes a top 5 d-man in the league.

Lucic attempts to slewfoot Laich at least 3 times and finally just knocks him over on a faceoff.

The result? The refs take both. Brutal

And there it is... Ott in the Ranger end for like 3-4 straight minutes, Lundquist 2 great saves, the Rangers go the other way and score within a few seconds.

The Sens miss about 5 glorious chances within minutes and the Rangers score a fluke goal. Beautiful.

The Ottawa Senators do not grasp the concept of a deke.

Jagr's Tweet the other day:

Jaromir Jagr ‏

Bryz is scared of bears. There were like 70 bears at the game! I wonder what would happen if he said he is scared of beautiful naked girls?!

They mentioned it on the Flyers telecast I believe and it was legit..actually it was mentioned with Jonesy and Millbury on NBC and I think Jonesy said something like "only if"

Wow. Shaw got three games for his hit on Mike Smith.

I didn't expect that.

That's harsh. I think they're putting down the foot now, trying to ensure that the rest of the playoffs are a bit cleaner.

They shouldn't have let Weber off the hook to begin with, even if the stuff going on in the different series wouldn't have been avoided had they suspended him, any suspension coming now will be seen in the light of him only getting a fine.

I'm a bit biased when it comes to Karlsson. I saw him play for the first time when he was 16, and began pimping him to anyone bored enough to listen to me. He's gotten to this level a lot earlier than I could have ever imagined though. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a Norris nominee already this year, even if he's not used on the PK. He's good enough all around to deserve it, imo.

On the one hand, it's petty and stupid. On the other, it's hilarious.

Yep, I think the owners and Bettman have sent a little note to Shanahan that suspensions are back in vogue. The decision on Neal will be telling, particularly with that game setting a non-SC final viewer record on NBC, if I heard right.

I'm thinking he got 3 because it was a goalie.

And yet Lucic got 0 for intentionally injuring Miller

Its an absolute joke that Shaw (No history) gets suspended 3 playoff games for that ,, And Mike Smith deserves an Oscar

Not only did his pretending to be injured fool the refs into giving Yotes a 5 minute PP and throw Shaw out of game but now Shanahan fell for it

But I guess facing the NHL's team (Literally) you cant expect an even playing field

Hopefully this lights a fire under Hawks and game 5 is the final game in Pho for NHL

I dont know how I know this, but the devils are using their old goal horn, the one they used in their older arena.

You channeled your inner MSE?

They're making good use of it as well. Up 3-0 after just six minutes plus change.
