Buffalo offers Biron and a 2nd for Bertuzzi
Now, I can't post a link (as its blocked), but this blogger has been ahead of the curve today. Was right about 2 trades today so far, before TSN. (Parrish/Sopel to LA, Edmonton was looking at Roloson, etc)
He could just be blowing smoke, but very intresting. Bertuzzi could add a much different dimension to the team...
He says it's been offered to them.No way Vancouver would accept it.We can dream though.
Those forwards are just sick though.
True, but i think its interesting that maybe, somewhere, somehow, Regier picks up Bertuzzi. I personally think he'd do well on THIS team that is all about playing hard for your teammates and personal responsibility. He seems to be a guy that really gets into the team first mantra, sometimes a little too into it, but into it none the less.
I seriously think Bertuzzi is waaaay overrated. I don't like him (not related to the Moore incident), I just think he's overrated and overpaid.
Bertuzzi would be a huge gamble.
If the change of scenery did him good, then he would be worth the big chunk of change that he'd be making.
Personally, I'd love to see the Sabres try something like that right now. This is a solid young team, but I'd love to see the organization step up and make a big statement that they think this team is ready to do damage now as opposed to just sitting back and seeing what happens.

OK, make something happen. Do not just do something, or anything for the sake of it or because we can. (which we all know Darth wouldn't do) Never, not ever, blow your wad on an overpaid, overrated, underachiever. We have a team of overachievers and speedy, skilled team players. IMO If Bert is such a good player, Vancouver would not give him away for a low 2nd pick and an average player. If he gets moved and suddenly has a metamorphosis, so be it, he definitley does not fit on this club.

I disagree. Bertuzzi is basically a PPG player. He'd benefit from being out of Vancouver because of the Moore incident and I seriously think he gives us someone that opposing teams in the playoffs will be concerned about. It also keeps him from possibly being traded to a team like Philly or NYR who we may be facing in the post-season.
Vancouver wouldn't mind dealing him to save money, help their PR, and improving their goaltending while also adding an extra pick or young player/prospect(Pyatt?).
Giving up Pyatt instead of a pick would decrease the number of forwards we have to find ice time for and would also cut in to the cost of Todd's contract.

Actually both deals were called by a NY radio station before either ****ers( both bloggers are twits)--but both bloggers will try to strock their egos over saying they broke a deal that was broken by someone else

One thing is for certain, nobody's gonna be turning their backs to him...
