Marchand at times made me sad to be a Bruins fan tonight. He needs to quit that. Some of those falls were inexcusable.
Not sure the Bruins deserved to win this one. The Caps played well, and they are playing defense like I've never seen them play before. Every time the Bruins were in the offensive zone, the Caps were somehow already set up in a 4 man box in front of the goal. This isn't the Washington defense I expected to see.
Regardless of what happens from here on in, the Caps have played great. All three games could have gone either way. It will be interesting to see how the rest of this series plays out.
Lol, no, no I'm not. If you have the game PVR'd rewind it. Lucic was cross checked in the back which started all the drama and led to him punching someone in the face. Might not of been Hendricks doing the cross checking but it happened and started it all. Cross check most people in the back and you won't get a smile and a hug. You'll get punched in the face.
What's so hard to grasp here, and honestly, why's it even an issue?
Lucic punched Wideman in the face after the cross check, then punched Hendricks...then the linesman was between them and Alzner grabbed him...IN THE SCRUM....not a fight....aka....wake the F up!
This is spot on.... Alzner coming in the scrum is not a big deal at all, and def not a penalty. Alzner gesturing to Looch about being a baby and crying is.... That **** he will have to answer for.
Hardly whining from my view point. In fact I think ultimately you guys are going to be the ones upset at Alzner. The Bruins often times need emotion to play at the top of their game. Alzner injected something tonight that the Bruins can latch onto.
I could care less about Alzner making that gesture....he does not have the balls to ever go with Lucic and if he did his face would be caved in. I will tell you that he will be a target now and may end up regretting it not only from the persepctive stated above, but from the perspective of his personal safety.
Yeah, when Lucic surgically picks his spots its playing a smart game and realizing that he's not a goon and whatnot, but if Alzner doesn't fight an amateur boxer with 40 pounds on him it's because he doesn't have the balls
Nope. Whistle blows, nothing going on, Wideman cross checks Lucic in the back.
Lucic turns to face him, Hendricks jumps in, Lucic squares off with Hendricks, then Alzner decides 2 Caps aren't enough, and jumps in.
1. They never squared off. Hendricks was just keeping him away from Wideman.
2. Lucic throws a punch and Hendricks returns the favor. Refs get involved and try to break it up.
3. Wideman never really did anything past the cross check.
4. Alzner tries to pry Lucic off Hendricks since the ref wasn't getting anywhere.
Any things else you want to distort?

Yeah you were. You said Hendricks when it was Wideman that cross checked Lucic.
Can't imagine they will. But you have to wonder what's going through his head.
Probably something about how he'd prefer to be able to keep having things go through his head.
He got a really raw deal with the Bourque thing, as a result he and the Caps are hyper sensitive to his head so whether intentional or not they're going to take exception to anyone hitting him up high.
It means, how about we talk about something that actually made an impact on the game.
Here's my tin foil hat theory (I don't endorse it, but is totally possible):
Julien is upset about calls being made/not made in favor of the Bruins. He speaks out publicly about how badly he thinks that the series has been officiated. He tells Marchand to dive his ass off the following game. Marchand obliges and draw two penalties, could have easily been more. Lucic the agitator throws in his bit of inspiration and we have more penalties. Direct result of Julien's public displeasure of the officiating.

Yeah, well he may not have the balls to go with him but he`s also got bigger balls that he won`t go after someone smaller than him who doesn`t fight.....as for his personal safety....I wouldn`t worry about it.......alot of hot air........why would the Bruins hurt Alzner over a gesture when they did squat about Cooke ending Savard`s career?

Sounds about right
He'll get to pick his partner, Boston has a plethora of players who would be willing to give the guy an opportunity to stand up for himself.
Yeah. That's not why I'm posting though. I'm really just perplexed about how Bruins fans are whining about the Caps diving and cheap shotting. Just pisses me off that a fanbase of such a ******* team is *****ing after a win where the winning goal was clearly offsides and the initial penalty was drawn by a complete dive.

No distortion. I agree with everything you said. Did I say anything different?
