I think it's just you? The officiating was pretty bad but I would say Washington got the crap end of the stick by 1 or 2 calls.

Screw him...he is a dirty player and I hope he gets his before the series ends.

Not at all. It's either even or Washington got the better of it. Hendricks highstick and Alzner 3rd man in not being called is the major difference.

he is having a good playoffs so far, good to see because we can't afford any mistakes and to have him playing with some puck carrying confidence is a plus to the team

I forgot about the Hendricks high stick actually. That evens it up in my eyes.

I think the apology is a good thing. Means in general Chimera knows what he did was cheap and dirty and wanted to make it right.

Its playoff hockey-things happen and sometimes those things aren't all that sportsmanlike.
Things dont happen wen it is premeditated.

I hate wen people think because they apologized it makes everything fine.
It doesn't.

That is disgusting. NBCSN just showed it and it is definitely a suspension.

Pevs tripped Ovie yes but the response by a 3rd man in is uncalled for and bush league.

Also, JR just called Pevs Chris Peverley

funny, even Chimera apologized to Marchand and yet there are still a few thousand posts on the main board attacking Marchand for the incident calling him a diver, even so-called Bruins fans are saying bad things

Noticed Chris Peverley too lol. Keenan sounded baked.

That cross-check should, without question, be a suspension.

Can Shanny use the term "predatory" again?

Blatant attempt to injure. Definitely after final bell. Should be 1 game.

Truth is...I don't care. Just Win the Series. We'll get our payback on him (and Chimera) in the fall when the stakes are not so high.

Was waiting for you to pop up. You have Corvodar lol.

I don't care for him by any stretch but he's done nothing really to make me criticize him. He's raised his compete level and doing a good job in Quaider's absence.

Hope it continues.

Good, another opportunity for Lucic or Chara to make him eat some glass, and wish Kessel was drafted before him.

I love when he uses predatory then contradicts himself.

Payback is indeed winning the series.

Lucic crosschecked a Canadien in the upper chest/neck area, suspended.
Komisarek breaks his stick on Lucic's face, no suspension.
Asham crosschecks a guy in the throat last night...jury still deliberating that one.
Backstrom crosschecks Peverley up high...still debating.

They're coin flips and I don't care either way. Drag his pansy ass all over the ice and get the wins

I wasn't part of any circle jerk man... I still hate him and would love to see us demolish his ass next game. All im saying is i tip my cap to a man who owns up to his actions. Whether it be right after it happened or at the end of the war. Him doing what he did changes nothing about how i approach him or the Caps the following game. You think Marchand took his apology and was like "oh gee Mr. Chimaera, your a swell guy for doing this." If thats the type of fan you are talking about i agree with you. I just dont see any issue saying what he did is the proper thing to do.

Don't see how that was just a 2 min penalty. Accident or not.
Especially since Chimera went between the ref's legs with the stick to get to Marchand.
He almost got 4 Cadbury eggs instead of just two.

Good for Chimera for fessing up.

OV boarded Pevs right between the numbers with time running out and Pevs was engaged with two other Caps. That's why he tripped OV. It certainly wasn't worthy of a retaliatory crosscheck to the chops.

What's the consensus here...did Holtby throw his stick in the first period?

I realize that but I wanted to acknowledge that Pevs did trip Ovie right before but you are correct that it was not worthy or a retaliatory, predatory crosscheck to the face.

It looked bad, then they showed an overhead angle that looked like he MIGHT have tried gripping the tape knob at the end, but it's too close to tell. I'm ok with the non call.

I think he definitely did. Also, did any else see how scrambly he was before Rolston's goal? So glad we got 4 past him tonight.

Anyone else notice there's a whole different group of Bruins fans on the main board that never post here? It's weird like an alternate universe where I don't know anyone, and half of them are Dbags giving the rest of us bad names.

Good win, and I think Lucic is a beast from here on out.

My apologies if I offended you. It was not my intention. I was just trying to use your post as a reference point.

Regards
