Nice win by the Blues, they let up a little in the end, I think it was their inexperience, but they learned another lesson.
Good thing is that there were 0 soft goals. Something STL has been waiting for a long time come the PO's.
Blues are legit, they just need to realize that in the PO's you have to keep playing until the end and dont let up. They have the rest of it right.
Its been a good series and I expect a battle the rest of the way. I hope they can win this but its not written in stone and SJ is a good team. Its going to be entertaining throughout no matter what.
I hope some of these SJ fans can calm down a bit and try to look at things as objectively as possible while rooting for their team.
Which SJ fans aren't? Same could be said about both fan bases.
one of your posters has more confidence that this series is over
Vancouver just isn't the same with out Daniel
It is normal for Sharks fans to think that, we always go to extremes, anyways it is a lot different to think you are going to lose the series than be cocky thinking you are going to win.

Idk, Blues fans are excited with reason to be for the first time in awhile. Some people really didn't experience the pre-lockout days. This entire season has been a pleasant surprise, and a long wait, so we should be able to enjoy to some extent, but I understand where you are coming from.
If this wasn't our first playoffs in a while and first playoffs where we actually have a chance to make a run, then I would agree some of the cockiness would be a bit much.

Excitement is one thing. It's great to be excited. What is completely different is assuming that the Blues are going to win.

You're right, but Ive seen a lot more from the SJ fan base in this thread. NO fan base is perfect. I actually have a lot of respect for the SJ fans, they represent that team well, but Ive seen more bad than good, I guess.
If and when the Blues win this series, you guys are going to be really surprised when you run into a good coach, which we don't have. I've said I don't think the Sharks have the coaching to beat the Blues, but someone will. I just don't think their system is ever going to win a cup.

The Kings would give them a run for their money if it gets there.

Have you met Blues fans before? The ones that watched a team make the playoffs 25 years STRAIGHT and NEVER win a Cup?

Doubt it. Sutter's not going to be the coach to break the Blues D. They certainly have the talent and depth to compete but the Blues can and likely will beat the Kings. Now if it's Tippett, Babcock, or Quenneville, I think they can get the job done.

Ive been a fan of the STL Baseball Cardinals for a while, Ive heard everything as that team routinely makes the PO's where only 8 teams do in both leagues, until this year. You need to realize that any team can win the Cup, even SJ. Ive seen teams like the 03-04 Devils win it with D and Ive seen teams like the 96-97 Red Wings win it with a loaded roster, then you have teams like the Tampa and Carolina winning it all.
No one can anticipate what is going to happen. You would be ignorant to think you can, the Sharks could very well win this series and all of the rest.
Right, great goaltending, which Elliott is providing; great special teams, which are hot right now; great defense, which for the majority of this series, we have; depth; and timly scoring all make for a bad recipe.
Don't want to come off in a bad way, but come on.
I'd say Boston plays a similar style, I mean we were compared to them all season long.

An AHL team would be dominating us on the PP right now, absolutely horrid.
