He is doing in the NHL today what like 100 clutch forwards were able to do in the NHL before the lockout. And that's quite the feat actually lol.

Before the lockout, a destructive forward had so many tools. Smart slashes and grabs especially, but also hooks and trips, just weren't called. If a player came stickhandling against you, there were easily 100 players in this league who never would let that player get by you no matter who he was. Now its alot harder. But Feds is able to cruise around on the ice, pick his spots, and whack away.

Ottawa fan here. Both teams played near perfect Rangers style hockey. The Rangers got a bounce and both goalies were amazing. Don't known if Ottawa can repet tonight's performance but they played one of their best overall games of the season tonight and still lost... Kudos to the Rangers for that. If they can gut check and play the same in game 4 they may win the game. I can't believe how relentless the Rangers are... Kudos to Torts... and all the players.

I hope none of you Rangers fans think this series is over. I actually want you to say if you have seen a team this year play as perfect Ranger style hockey as the Sens did tonight against you all season? I'd guess not! I love theat both teams played a great game tonight and the Carkner-suspension... Boyle and suspension crap didn;t change the game plan. Man I love our coach Maclean and I love torts too. Both teams played a relentless hardcore defensive showdown tonight and you guys won 1-0.... I can take that easily... on the edge of my seat all game.

Hope you all stay classy.. like both teams did tonight. Kudos on a great game and a great season.. hope we can beat you on Wednesday and tie the series!

Sens Fan

Knowing how superstitious hockey players are, I can easily imagine Boyle not touching a razor for as long as he keeps scoring like this.

We're fortunate Boyle/Lundqvist are giving Richards/Gaborik ample time to get step up their game.

Ottowa has outshot the Rangers in all three games. Without Hank, it could easily have been 3 game down by now.

Oh my, what a playoff Hank is having so for. We just get reminded game after game how important the goalkeeping is in the playoffs.

With Lundqvist healthy, Rangers are a very serious contender this year.

I hate reading how the Rangers only won because of Lundqvist. Yeah so what? He wears a Rangers jersey doesn't he? Does it count less because he is a goalie?

Great game. Hope they're all like that. Would prefer no Carkner/Scotts to be playing

Yep. It's so stupid. If Gabby had a hat trick, people wouldn't be saying that we only won because of Gabby. But apparently, a goalie isn't allowed to steal games.

Feels weird to look at the box score and seeing that Boyle had the most ice time of all forwards on the Rangers hehe

I liked Boyle better when he was just beating up Karlsson. lol

Seriously though, your grinders are really bringing it. It's funny cause neither teams top line is doing much.

MDZ doesn't kick the puck in his own net and it's 3-0 rangers!

The Rangers might be getting outshot, but I thought the Rangers had the better scoring chances. Ottawa has a ton of shots from the outside that are easy to save

They controlled Karlsson the whole night, and that was the difference, the 2nd game he must have taken 15 shots...

Hank has been scored on by two pucks he could've possibly stopped, in 3 games (game tying goal and ensuing OT loser). But even those weren't his fault, bad defense leads to that ****. Hank has been more than stellar.

I thought that as well. I think the rangers system is based on giving up more shots but protecting in close. I also think this is why Ottawa often gets alot of possession time but often doesn't generate much from it.

Easy. 2 consecutive Finals apperances. Very hard to do that. He is better than Niemi.

You are correct sir.

Keep the shooters to the perimeter. Limit high% scoring chances.

We have seen it all season long. The Rangers were often on the short end of shots on goal.
