Exactly, nobody said the Matthias call cost the panthers the game. We said the same exact thing devils fans are saying about the clarkson penalty last game.

perhaps dineen is reading hf, wolski scratched and smithson in

now he's just gotta do something about jovo

Regardless of what the Devils fans think of the Panthers, and us "cocky" and "smug" fans, the better team has the series lead.

Parise is playing not to get hurt. His mind is as far away from Jersey as his contract will be come the offseason.

I don't really consider Panthers fans cocky or smug. And the better team does have the lead in this series. I give Florida a lot of credit. They could have easily folded after the starts of Game 1 and 3, but didn't. Instead it's the team on the other end that has folded like a cheap tent. I'm honestly embarrassed at the performance of the Devils in this series.

Where the hell does that fire that you see in the first half of the first period go? They look like world beaters early on, then like you said, just fold like a cheap tent after that. I was one of the bigger DeBoer fans when he was the Panthers coach, but we have seen this song and dance so many times when he was down there. A lot of Panther players said that when he coached, they were afraid to take chances at time, because of the leash DeBoer put on them, so maybe his style might make those Devil players squeeze those sticks a bit tighter.

And the smug/cocky comment was in response to an idiotic post earlier, nothing against Devil fans that show sportsmanship with Panther fans.

We've been in the darkness for so long that the light is burning my eyes...

12 years...

12... very... long... years...

No offense to Devils fans, but Panthers fans deserve a game like this.

The easiest way to look bad and choke is by getting ****** goaltending.

Brodeur was bad and Hedberg was shaky, as well.

DeBoer is not even close to the problem. The Devils are comprised of a bunch of mental midgets. No fire, No magic.

Congrats on the win, Panther fans.

I just knew this series was going to be a tough one. Heck, you guys are on your way to taking it the way things are going.

I have this feeling in my stomach like I'm going to have explosive diarrhea soon or vomit profusely.

No ability to completely put a team away. They had the Cats in a headlock and refused to put them down and stomp on their throats. Quick 3 goal lead in the first 6 minutes and everything shuts off.

Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic.

Same here.

I think Dineen is going to be a tremendous coach for years to come in FLA. Just wait until more of the younger guys start coming up and contributing.
