I think Bylsma almost has the team so focused on playing as fast and north-south as possible that guys are making mistakes. They're not playing smart. This hasn't be corrected.
Fleury also hasn't really made a big save all series. 18 goals in 8 periods plus half an OT is inexcusable, regardless of how many chances a team has given up.
Aside from Letang, the D Corps are playing to avoid making mistakes rather than playing to win. That's not good in the playoffs. I'm not one to quote Therrien, but I've never seen a defense soff like dis. I'm actually dead serious. They're not winners. They're afraid when the puck comes to them. They're afraid to battle in the corners. I'm still giving them a chance to turn it around, but I have a feeling that the reason that we end up winning won't be because our defense fearlessly led us into battle.
