Also, everyone keeps crediting the Rangers' defense for Gibson's high stats.
Only people who haven't seen the Rangers play. They've routinely allowed 45+ shots per game and Gibson has been stellar.

I heard someone on here say Gibson was the best goalie the OHL has had in 40 years and I was kind of like

Even if we dilute any homerism and over-excitement that's still pretty high praise. In your opinion how does he compare to other goalies currently in the NHL to come out of the OHL?

That Kamloops-Portland game was one for the ages last night. Wow.

I'm a big fan of Wedgewood (and I hate that he's a freakin' Devil-to-be ) but Gibson has matched him in most games, outworked him (more shots against), and outplayed him in at least one game.

Here's hoping Gibson wins tonight's game!

I expect a Moose win tonight.

The difference is that Mooseheads' youngsters play their best hockey while Quebec's youngsters are invisible. Quebec's overagers are supposed to be better than Halifax' but 2/3 of them being injured, it doesn't help at all.
That's a big loss. Might of been the best player of the series. It should be a great game either way. I just hope this Moosehead team continues to play with nothing to lose.

Not sure what relevance this has, but I'd definitely have Percy over the other two prospects. Biggs is still a project as he was in last June, but he was ranked higher than the where Leafs were picking (BMac had him 15). Neither of them may be the 'sexy' picks that HF Board loves, but there's a very good chance that they'll become NHLers. Either way, it's very early to look at the '11 draft.

3-2 Kitchener. I really don't know how they do it. Every game they're outshot and they still find ways to come out with leads.

Gibson with 21 saves to his credit so far.

Kitchener doesn't take bad shots, Plymouth does. Kitchener consistently generates more scoring chances. Wedgewood really is the only reason Plymouth is in this series.

It'd be the perfect moment for Grigorenko to score.

Kitchener wins 6-3....Randall with a hell of a game. Crazy game in Ottawa. Ottawa goes ahead 3-2 at 19:35 and then Barrie ties it @ 19:51 of the 3rd to force OT.

Shawinigan done. Chicoutimi moves on to play Saint John. 4-4 in Blainville winner plays the winner of Halifax/Quebec.

Shawinigan who sold the future just to avoid embarassment?

Shawinigan - you're ****in' out.

Saint John should be hosting the tournament, enjoy the free ride you bought. What a joke. Now one of BLB/RIM/HFX/QUE doesn't get their hard earned spot.

Yeah he's been a rock in the playoffs. Should be a great series against London.
