Bingo Boys

Bingo came to Newfoundland for some exhibition games prior to the 2010-11 season. Guys like Condra, O'Brien, Daugavins played in the game and if you told me after the game that in 2 years time I would see these guys in a Sens uniform in the playoffs I would of laughed at you. I think alot of the credit goes to Maclean for giving these guys an opportunity but the players are certainly buying in.

The 4th line tonight had some great chances and our bottom 6 guys def outplayed theirs but it is amazing to see how far some of these players have come.

I think you need to give some credit to KK as well.

Kind of reminded me of Sens position...Bingo was down 3-1 vs Manchester last season and then came back, then down again vs Portland and came back...

If Sens were to drop tomorrow's game, and full credit to Lundqvist as he's been amazing, could the Bingo boys (JOB, Condra, Doggy, Greening, Butler, Smith, and Cowen) repeat?

The Bingo boys played a great game last night, Lunquist stole the game.

The stress of these games does remind me of the run last season. Especially when OB got robbed by Bickle.

God can you imagine how much better off this team if we could call up Keller to replace Alfie being out? How could he not even be given consideration and instead shipped out to Oklahoma City?

You guys are forgetting that Bingo also gave up a penalty shot in OT in Game 5.

I always thought he'd be a really good call-up. He was a very good captain and I'll always remember him for his goal in game 5 of the Calder Cup.

Game winner in game 6 in Houston still boggles my mind on how Keller got that one in, amazing shot..

I'm really thrilled w/ Ob's play this series..Jim has developed into quite a nice addition to the Sens and coach Mac has showed his confidence w/a ton of ice time..

Edit: Ob's faceoff's are amazingly gold

I'm sure Keller was very important to Bingo. But he would be a non-factor in the NHL playoffs. Not really up for discussion.

This is a business and players are nothing but temporary assets. They are traded, liquidated and optimized to the best of their ability. Keller knew he had no future in Ottawa so why not move. Most players with half a brain know if they have a future with the big club. Several times last year players were told they were going to be called up after they suffered and injury. Keller was one of them.

Well it doesn't really matter now because Ottawa's not facing a 3-1 defecit.
