See I wanted to say 5 for each of them. Of course realistically I think the league will wuss out and not go strict cause it's the playoffs, just like they've done with everyone else.

I think both would be back for a game 7* if needed lol so I'm going 2 games, 3 max.
If Hagelin got 3, I would hope Neal and Asham get at least 2, but who knows. I think Shanny has been lousy at handling this all season. This whole history of the player and blah, blah, BS. He needed to establish a hard line from the get go and none of this player's past/reputation crap. You commit a flagrant penalty, no matter what, automatic suspension and fine, boom. Stop being a wuss Brendan.
I got to call the Devils out on some BS that I just saw on one of their commercials.
The commercial start out "Hey Devils fans, are you ready for playoff hockey?" and then shows the Devils scoring. This commercial is total false advertising. The Devils score on the Islanders. Any hockey fan with eyes knows the Islanders never make the playoffs.
If he doesn't leave his feet MAYBE he gets two minutes for charging.
He left his feet and went for the head? Neal just got one game for THAT plus another head shot on Giroux. And Neal is a repeat offender. Torres will get 1.

I think Torres gets 3 really. It's a bit of payback for both this hit and last year's blindside hit that went uncalled. Is that fair? No, but it's JUSTICE. Muahahahahaa.

Neal didn't even get suspended for the Couturier hit, it was the Giroux one that got him the game. In the video, Shanny basically excused the hit because Neal told him "he was bracing for contact."

I'm more or less fine with the Shanabans so far except Weber should have got a game. Torres' hit is practically identical to Neal's on Couturier (charge+interference+headshot), but his history + the end result will push it to 5+ games, but it should be less than 10.
Shanahan should, though, issue some kind of statement about the stakes being raised, and that the next headshot won't take into account the precedents set by previous punishments, and that it will take into account the need to affirmatively send a message re: player safety. Basically, a fair warning that the next guy that ****s up is being made example of.
