I've never liked Torres.
I hope Hossa is OK.

Just saw a tweet that he arrived at the hospital with his neck immobilized. What happened?

The suspension video made it seem like he got 0 games for the Couturier hit and 1 for the Giroux hit, should have been 1,1 or 2,1 IMO

Listen to link at the bottom. Apparently, Phoenix announcers think the Torres hit as clean of a hit as you're gonna get.

Shanahan won't be back next season.
So insanely inconsistent.
I hope the NHL chooses someone who punishes intent over result.

I don't know, i've hear rumors about him being told to tone it down around the winter GM meetings

****ing travesty! Shanahan should be ashamed. As usual, the grinder/spare like Asham is made an "example of" and the star-player let off. If Neal gets 1 game for 2 separate incident, then one can imagine what a player like Crysby or ****-face Malkin would get.

Disgusted by these playoffs.

He's made it pretty obvious it's absolutely nothing to do with the safety of the players. It has everything to do with not pissing the players off.

The rulings he has handed out this season have been a complete farce and the post season has only intensified how much he has failed this season at doing his job correctly.

Why did Shaw get 3 games for accidentally hitting Smith's head and Weber get a $2,500 fine for intentionally ramming Zetterberg's head into the glass? 4 games for Asham? It isn't like he's afraid to hand them out.

Secondly, Shanny allowed Neal's word to save him a game suspension.
He believed Neal's word that he jumped only bracing for an unexpected hit, even though it was blatantly intentional.
He even said that because he jumped into the hit on the second, it was a suspension.

Crosby or Malkin could slam someone head into the glass...then kick him with his skate...followed by slamming his stick into his back and still only get a $2,500 fine.

Crosby/Malkin could kill someone on the ice and they'd only get a fine.
