I'll take any silver lining we can get from this mess. Maybe he's home cooking eggs for Nealer as he waits for his Shanniban call.

Neal did nothing to be suspended for. Seriously, not every hit is a suspendable event no matter if he was going after someone or not. He hit Couturier with his arms tucked in and front on. He jumped so he got him a little high, but there was no elbow, forearm, shoulder or anything that would constitute intent to injure. He just wanted to hurt him. Big difference.

As for Giroux, he ducked and Neal pretty much missed him. Clipped him maybe in the back of the head with his fist, but that is because he was going for a front on hit and Giroux tried to get out of the way. Any hit in the head was an accident. Fine him for being overenthusiastic with his hit, but no suspension considering that both players were completely fine a minute after the hit.

Sure looks like Dustin Jeffrey will be the out man out again in Game 4. He's skating between Asham and Adams.

I think that's a dumb idea, but oh well. He didn't really get in any game action down the stretch, so you can't really put him in a playoff game.

#Pens coach Bylsma: Martin was a maintenance day. He is possible for tomorrow's game. -MC

Dave Molinari ‏ @MolinariPG
Bylsma labels Martin "possible" for Game 4, and says he was given maintenance day. If he doesn't play Brian Strait is frontrunner to replace

IF Martin and Adams both don't play tomorrow night, could we possibly lose?

We may run off 16 straight!

I kid, I kid.

son: "Hey Daddy, how much money do hockey players make?"
father: "Aw, son, that's a very good question. They all make a lot, but some more than others."
son: "I guess that makes sense Daddy, the good players make good money and the bad players make bad money."
father: "It doesn't quite work like that son, you must be taking those crazy pills again."
son: "I don't understand Daddy! Explain to me."
father: "Of course little Johnny, you see that player right there, with 58 on his back?"
son: "Yeah! You mean the one that looks like mommy!"
father: "Umm... yeah. Well he makes a lot, 3.5 million dollars."
son: "Wow, that is 3.5 million happy meals!"
father: "And you see that player with 7 on his back? He makes 5 million dollars."
son: "Daddy... I'm chocking on my orange juice, help me."
father: "What's wrong little Johnny?"
son: "That's impossible. #7 ****ing sucks. **** #7. I thought they only let him play because he was special. It's like he skates around with a dirty diaper on his head. **** #7."
mom: "Honey, what is going on in there. I just heard what Johnny said!"
father: "It's alright honey, little Johnny was only talking about Paul Martin."
mom: "Oh, sorry dear, I didn't realize that. **** Paul Martin. He is a c**t."

Maybe you could start an organization that would put a stop to all of this unnecessary violence and help save the children.

It is almost as funny as the people who are outraged about the Saints bounty scandal.... As if they are the only team to ever do it. Maybe the first to ever get caught....

I love how people follow these violent sports, but get outraged when it gets too violent... As if violence can ever be completely controlled.

When you have a violent sport already, then you up the ante by putting these athletes against each other in a seven game series... One has to be pretty naive to believe some of these games won't get out of hand at times.

Tangradi, on dressing for Game 4: "I’ve been closing my eyes at night and looking for this chance to put on this sweater in the playoffs."
Please give him more than 4 minutes tomorrow.

I really don't see how it could get much worse than 20 goals in 3 games.

Brian Strait must have went all Tanya Harding on Martin.

The team is down 3-0 and we have players who just want to go out there and compete. I knew Matt Cooke felt that way (man was shaking his head after the 3rd period shenanigans). We need players with Tangradi's attitude right now.

Yep, that's the guy that Dan Bylsma sits for three games in favor of Arron Asham and Richard Park. While idiots like Ben Lovejoy and Paul Martin get a free-ride.

Are you kidding me? At least this guy ****in' cares.
