And if Radulov wasn't there they might be out of the playoffs by now. Akosts impact has been minimal. He was 8th among forwards in TOI, maybe they should give one of their best forwards some more time?
weren't you the one saying the NAShville will get eliminated? Watch at least a game before you post, or are you contradicting Trotz and Babcock again?
When Babcock says that AK was one of the best addition they did what do you say?
No you're right, once Kostitsyn got there he turned the team around. They went on an absolute tear winning 7 of their last 12 games and turning their abysmal record from 41-21-8 to 48-26-8.
What an incredible "prophecy" you made, are you nostradamus?

Against the best team of the past 20ish years? What an outlandish thing to think! Funny how you only crawl out after the fact, if nashville loses the next game you will vanish again I am sure.

He prophecized "Montreal is building Nashville into a contender" so ya he kinda did. Akost is so inconsequential on that team you could slot anyone into his spot and nothing changes. Radulov is an elite player, put anyone beside him and thier life is a cakewalk, then you look back and have 2 of the best defenders patrolling the blue line.
Saying Montreal built anything in Nashville is taking away from the true talent.
Well, first of all, AK played with his bro for a big part of tonight, not Radulov.
Also, Weber and Suter are not on the ice for 60minutes, so AK isn't on the ice with them behind him all the time. I don't even think he's there with them more than his other teammates anyways..
AK has made a lot of great individual defensive plays too, irrelevant to who is on besides or behind him.
Now, you can call out someone for saying they're over exaggerating on the impact of Mtl has had (SK-AK-Bouillon-Gill. Although the later one has yet to play due to injury), but you're essentially doing the same going in the other direction, saying AK is inconsequential and removing him would change nothing at all. I mean, it's pretty obvious you haven't seen much of those games, otherwise I have a hard time understanding how you could make such a statement.
AK is not the MVP, he isn't inconsequential either. He's been good, has provided the Preds with some depth production, created a lot of scoring chances, cycles the puck well, and has played a sound defensive game too, making great back checks that interrupted plays on more than one occasion, and covering up for Dmen rushing up, just to name a few things. He is a good addition to their roster and contributes. Exactly what they wanted I'm sure.

Anybody else kind of glad Montreal didn't make the playoffs this year? at this rate, there aren't going to be any healthy players left by the end of the playoffs.

Wow you just defined a 3rd liner. Like I said putting Akost on a solid team that was already dominant changed nothing. They could have done the same without him. He brought next to nothing that they couldn't have gotten from any third liner in the league. Go tell the Predator fans how we "are building their team" you will be laughed out of the thread.

Irony black hole! D:
Do you know the meaning of Depth ?

Maybe he should go ask the Preds fans if the addition of AK makes the Predators a better team or a worst team.
Ya 'cause we know preds fans really hate him bc of all his lazyness and ****.

Well, I don't think there's much more to discuss if you have that level of stubborness. It's also been obvious from the beginning that you haven't watched much of the games, so, no point in discussing this any further.
You can call AK an AHL player that is lucky to play in the NHL for all I care. You've proven yourself incapable of being rational about him.

I wouldn't do that because I never said that.
You've also been around this board long enough to realize you should take some things with a grain of salt. If someone writes in his post that he had a prophecy, chances are the guy isn't 100% serious. In this case, I think it's obvious all he meant to say was that the Preds have 4 regulars that came from here.
Trying to discredit this poster by diminishing the added value one of these ex-players have brought to that team is only making yourself look worse.
So drop the arrogant sarcasm, it's obvious you haven't seen much of the Nashville games. Call AK whatever you want if it makes you happy.
There's multiple threads on the general board where people are calling this the greatest playoffs of their lifetimes and calling anyone who disagrees "wussies" watching the wrong sport. They are calling the Pens-Flyers series a classic.
Am I missing something or is the horrible officiating and cheapshots a complete joke? There's some good hockey, outside of Pens-Flyers at least, but all this nonsense is distracting from it.
Well, sadly, to lots of people now, "real" hockey is those prehistoric, WWE-like, unprofessional, dirty and juvenile stuff happening on the ice that is not hockey. The league is to blame.
Given Rome's 4 game suspension for his hit on Horton last year, Torres shouldn't get anything less.
Hope Hossa is OK.
He should get more for being a repeat offender. I'd suspend him 11 games (he misses the rest of this series & the next series if Coyotes advance), with the suspension carrying over to the regular season if the Coyotes get eliminated.
I might even suspend him for the rest of the playoffs. It's happened before. Tie Domi's elbow on Scott Niedermayer that caused a concussion. Scott missed the rest of the Toronto series (which they won) and most of the next series.
It's a do or die year for Nashville, they'll probably have to cut a few guys loose after this year and will probably take a step back.
They already have 32 mil committed for next year and their budget is usually around 50 mil that leaves them 20 mil to re-sign 10 players including Radulov AK Suter Weber SK Gill Bouillon Tootoo Gaustad Wilson Yip Lindback. They will lose at least 1 if not 2 of Radulov Suter and Weber.
On the Contrary my friend.. all the players listen to him.. they are taking liberties at each other knowing they will only get slap with a fine or a one game suspession!... RI-DI-CU-LE!
I don't follow other sports, but sometimes I just think hockey people are amongst the stupidest of all sports.
It will be so great having a Stanley cup final with 2 teams filled with 3rd and 4th liners, the talented players all out injured. Old time hockey.
Funny (say sad) how people with a lower IQ than the average monkey can get paid big money to say just nothing on tv. Millbury, Cherry. WTF.
And the only answers they dare to give to those who complain is to ''go watch figure skating or tennis''. Yeah..
Given Rome's 4 game suspension for his hit on Horton last year, Torres shouldn't get anything less.
Hope Hossa is OK.
Difference is:
1. Torres jumped.
2. Torres has a long history of warnings, suspensions and bad reputation all around
3. Torres shows zero remorse and basically said he'd do it all over again because he thinks it's a hockey play.

He's not a repeat offender, he's a regular offender. The guy doesn't learn.
I'd suspend him for the rest of the POs. If Phx get eliminated in the first round, I'd suspend him for an additional 10games. Heck, even if it's the 2nd round that they get booted out, I might still throw 10games.
It's beyond pathetic how this guy just doesn't learn.
