Prust, Rupp and Bickel aren't enough to handle Matt Carkner and whatever the rest of the Senators are jonesed up to throw at us? I don't think we should change a thing in our lineup.
same here. i cane be on the phone, texting with, or watching the game in person with my wife. the curse finally ended this year though. she watched the WC with me, and we all know how that ended. but its the playoffs. im not taking any chances and she knows it.
haha i told her it's not personal, i think she's gunna try to sneak in watching a period tonight. If Ott scores during the time she's watching with me i'm going to have to lock her out of the house.
There is more than enough grit in the lineup to handle Carkner/whatever else the Sens have. Rupp, Prust and Bickel. No need for Scott. The team is lacking for talent as it is.
Rangers have to make sure they keep the puck in the offensive zone today. Sens will be getting more and more desperate as the game goes on, should the score be tied.
If we can capitalize on their mistakes when they try to force something then we could win big here. Although Kreider has looked ok in his first game, i would put him on the third line. Or on the second line and move Dubi up.

As of April 18th, 2012, which is all that matters in the playoffs Chris Kreider and John Mitchell probably have about the same chances of scoring a goal.
And, while adding nothing, at least Mitchell is used to NHL game speed...as opposed to Kreider who looked overwhelmed at several points on Monday.

From some of the recent articles and quotes I've read, the Senators sure talk a lot of junk. I'm happy the Rangers refrain from all of that. LGR!!
.
Got that right. The Sens have a history of not respecting their opponents and it always comes back to bite them in the ass. I was on the Sportsnet forum earlier and Sens fans over there are going apesh** because of the Alfie hit. The Ottawa media is just as bad if not worse.

This is so true, I talked about the whole Boyle face wash of Karlsson being a non-issue here but I guess they made huge to do about it. Incensing fans and I guess players to an extent.
