Simon Despres has been recalled for Pittsburgh, possibly to replace Paul Martin.

I wish it could be an ECF series for these two teams, it's going to be a rough and tumble series if it happens.

Maybe time to start practicing some defensive minded hockey before the second round eventually starts.

I doubt any other team than the Pens are going to invite us to score 8 night in and out.

Step 4 tonight, need to finish them off tonight. don't want them getting any confidence and adding 2 players back into line up Friday. Time for one of Bryz's post ASG beast mode games.

GO FLYERS !!!!!!!:handclap:

Chris lee is one of the refs tonight.

I thought he was left off the referee playoff roster?

good to see the NHL wants to get a referee who can control a game out there

Would love him to pull a King Henry and steal the game..and then carry March Bryz over to the next round. Gonna need him to play exceptional again. He's been good..just not great which we're going to need as the team advances...

Some changes for the Penguins:

Quote:
Penguins game-day skate lines: Kunitz-Malkin-Kennedy, Sullivan-Crosby-Dupuis, Cooke-Staal-Tangradi, Jeffrey-Vitale-Park.
Quote:
Crosby practicing in Neal's spot on No. 1 PP unit. Letang and Sullivan at points, Kunitz and Malkin also up front.
Quote:
Michalek and Martin are not participating in game-day skate. No word on why Michalek isn't out there after practicing Tuesday.
Quote:
Cooke is actually playing RW on Staal's line, with Tangradi on the left.

I think we all know what is going to be said.

They will say they are still the better team.

Then they will say we haven't won a cup since the 70's, so beating their team isn't really anything special.

Then they will bring up how they won the cup three years ago and that makes the better then us in every way possible, even if they lost the series

Devorski is alright though. Pretty solid linesman.

Chris Lee on the other hand Most inconsistent ref I have ever seen.

Also let's get to Fleury extremely quickly tonight. If He has resurrected his confidence magically somehow, it will all wash away with a quick goal. Traffic traffic traffic and of course some jam out there
