I don't care if Ilya and Zach can't play tomorrow. Put forth some damn effort and they should still win this stupid series. Not just, "oh tomorrow is game #86 and we should try hard!" but "it's playoff time and we are losing 2-1 in the series, wake the **** up"

If we lose this series (which is the way its looking), maybe next season we should try new assistant coaches, I dont know if Larry is still what we all think he is, and Oats...well we've thrown him under the bus all season.
Maybe 2 assistant's that can (and will) put the players in their place and pump them up, instead of being so passive.

Larry was never this great maker/re-maker of defenseman that for some reason is ascribed to him. I don't know where that concept came from.

Come on Muttley. Stevens is an all powerful being who can inflict pain and fear with a mere glance at an opponent. Big Bird can make a pile of sticks play HOF-level defense. It's Devils legends.
The stuff they need to fix and get right, I'm not sure practice can change. Taking bad penalties, giving soft goals, and lackadaisacal performance in the offensive zone at the end of the game lies elsewhere.
